I felt confused. What did he mean by he needed a donor. Before I could ask Alijah Alex came in. He rushed over to me hugging me tight.

“Every time I leave you something bad happens to you,” He told me.

“I know, Just my luck,” I joked. Alex kissed me hungrily. He was worried, he usually did that when he was worried. I pushed him lightly away from me,

“I’m fine okay, It was just a bullet,” I told him.

“A bullet that could’ve killed you,” He shot back.

“But it didn’t,” I responded.

Alex sighed. “I know,” I smiled at him. I grab his hand squeezing it tight.

“What do you mean Jeydon needs a donar?” I questioned Alijah taking my attention back to him.

“Yea, he needs a bone marrow transplant,” He told me. I scoot over Alex and I disconnect myself from the machines. I wasn’t just going to lay here around and wait until Jeydon died. I placed my hand on my stomach as I made my way towards the door.

Dr. Smith stared at me confusedly. “ What are you doing out of bed?” She asked me.

“I’m going to see Jedyon,” I responded making her get out of my way.

“Aldabella, you cant see him. Your body isn’t in the right condition to enter into that unit,” She told me. To be honest everything everyone was telling only came through one ear and left through the other one.

“Dr. Smith?” I said.

“Yes?”

“I want to give Jeydon whatever he needs” I told her.

She glared at me as if I had lost my dam mind. “I cant do that,”

“Why not?” I asked.

“Because your body wont resist another surgery,” She said. I shrugged I didn’t care about myself right now. All I cared about was Jeydon. He had something to live for. He has a son who loved him very dearly. Who would I be if I just sat here and watch my best friend die when I know I can help him in some sort of way.

“I don’t care,” I simply said.

“Your parents wont allow this,”

I groan. “My parents don’t have the right to tell you what I can or can not do. Im eighteen. Plus, you and I know that I wont stop bugging you until you agree to give Jeydon what he needs,” I informed her.

She shook her head. “ I wont let you kill yourself that way,” She shot back at me. I laughed softly.

“I’m not asking for your opion,” I told her. She sighed. She walks away from without saying another word to me. A nurse walks up to me taking me back to my room but I didn’t let her. I told her I needed to see Jeydon.

I open the door stepping inside, Jeydon laid on his bed. His face was paler than before, he had dark purple bags under his eyes. His once pink lips were dry and cracked. He glances at me smiling weakly.

Now, I understood what he did. I don’t think back then I would be able to see him like this. Just seeing him right now was killing more than you could ever understand.

“What are you doing here,” He whispered to me. I limped up to him.

“I came to visit you,” I tried holding back my tears.

“You shouldn’t have. Im not in the right state for you to see me,” He informed me. I shrugged.

“I wont leave you when you need me the most,” I chocked out. He holds on to my hand squeezing it gently.
