#1 I ask for permission

When I woke up Annabeth
Was missing and then I looked at my watch and it said 7:45 am "oh shit I missed breakfast " " dammit Annabeth why didn't you wake me " I quickly got dressed and then remembered that I had the ring in the box in my respectful dresser drawer witch Annabeth never looks in but if she did she would be able to see it right away

I grabbed the box I opened it and there lay the proposal ring that was a golden band mixed with a little bit of celestial bronze  (so yes if she punched a monster hard enough she would be the equivalent of one punch man as a demigodess )

It had 3 gems 1 was grey pearl
The one on the other side was a seagreen emrald and the middle had a diamond infused with celestial bronze and gold but on the side of the ring it said "I would take on a million curses for you because you are my one true love" and I made it my self- well I did most of the work Tyson made the ring band and infused the diamond with the deadly metals but that's besides the point ,I was ready to ask her now, I grabbed my sword and shield and went to the dinning pavilion trying to see if I could get what was left witch wasn't much witch I still felt tremendously tired because it took me and Tyson 34 hours to find all the ingredients and 10 hours to make the damn ring but it was totally worth it because she's worth it any way I grabbed a apple and got the rest of the coffee  then I heard a horse trotting up to me "good morning percy I have a job for you ." " sure what's up " I said curiously "well as you know you saved the world and camp halfblood in the prophecy of the 7 " "Yeah and me and Annabeth almost died fourteen times what about it?" He looked concerned as if the job was about saving the world again " what is it chiron? Don't be horce..." " hahe I've never heard that one before  good one but in all seriousness there is a problem with the barrier and I want you to check it out and guard it until I can get somebody else to guard until I can figure out how to fix it " I was suprized why me though?  " um chiron isn't there anyone else who could why me?" " Because you're the best warrior we have other than clarisse" " alright fine but I have a sword fighting class to teach in a hour so how long is it gonna take?" " no more than about 45 minutes"  "ok um let's go I guess"

We walked over to the barrier and I instantly saw what he meant  "chiron there's no way I guard this barrier by myself!?" I said astonished because it wasn't just a hole it was 15 feet wide and 20 feet tall it was big enough to let in a freeking god/goddess " it's big yes but you can handle it percy I wouldn't have asked you if you couldn't ,I'mean you're percy jackson the hero of Olympus  returner of the lightning bolt a survivor of the Sea of monsters defyer of prophecies veteran of the battle of the labrinth and general of the battle of Manhattan and a survivor of tartarus and took down giae  the earth mother " "but chiron...I didn't do any of that by myself I'm just one demigod " " have faith percy , I must leave  but I'll be back soon." He ran off

Time Skip Afternoon

Still Percy's pov
It's been 10 hours since chiron  left me to guard the barrier "40 minutes my demigod ass!" I muttered angrily I seriously feel like if any thing did come through the barrier I wouldn'tbe able to take them just then I felt really really really tired and I started to close my eyes "no ....no percy stay awake! " I told my self but my eyes kept trying to close  which I would open them forcefully " C'mon stay awake  chiron and the camp is counting on you" * but they also said that you weren't going to be this long * " yeah  maby " *plus you're super tired and you would like to sleep even on the job* " yeah I mean if there was something out there it would have shown up by now" *exactly  there is probably nothing out there right now  just take a quick nap you know for energy reasons * I agreed with my thoughts and I dropped like a stone

When I woke up I heard  growling  and I have heard enough in my life as a demigod that I could tell that that sound was from  a hellhound  I looked up at it and it wasn't just 1 there was a whole pack of them  I grabbed riptide as I could and they noticed so they attacked one of the smaller ones swiped my back right where my mark of Achilles used to be but I lost the blessing a long time ago so my back was torn open by the attack I uncapped riptide and swung my sword at its leg where it jumped over it but in mid swing I brought my sword up and stabbed the hell hound dead the others were shocked  so they decided that they could surround me and attack that way I realized this but was to late to do anything they came at all sides injuring my legs and left arm and my right side that went all the way up my chest I was very very very hurt but I killed 3 more after my last injury  and it was me and the alpha he looked like he was ready to pounce "you better kill me because if you miss you'll regret it big boy!" I yelled at the monster  it then lunged and I lunged at it with my sword ready the next few seconds was me on the ground and bleeding but a second the weight that was pinning me down turned into gold dust " good try" I told the monsters remains I reached for my water bottle  there was only a few drops left not enough to heal me but just enough to get full strength ,I drank it  "ohh that is way better than nectar no offense dad ,zues and hades  then out of nowhere I hear screaming, it was piper and then I looked at the direction and there was a few cabins were on fire I looked at the barrier and then at the fire , " dammit grace!" I picked up the biggest bolder  and dropped it in front of the barrier and and bassicly  it was enough for now and I grabbed riptide of the ground and  capped it and put it back into my pocket and ran as fast as I could with the injuries I was suffering from and I saw just complete and uter chaos all the cabins were on fire the big house had a huge hole in the side and a bit of burn marks but not as bad as the other ones then  I saw what caused all of this the hellhound 3 x  the size as the others it was about to attack someone when I realized it was piper, but where is Jason  I looked around and I saw him under a bunch of rubble but he was breathing still so he was alive and clarisse was trying to lift the rubble off of him and she was injured in the side , piper was trying her hardest  to get away from the hellhound but to no avail then she wasn't fast enough and it was pinning her underneath it's giant paw and it started to crush her and then she screamed out in pain I had to act fast so I did the only thing that made sense I distracted it by me being the distraction "hey you big ugly beast leave her alone hey  yeah you I'm the one who killed your pack if you want to kill someone kill me "  I yelled  at the hellhound it turned its head and and went back to piper and she startedscreaming again louder than last time " HEY I SAID LEAVE HER ALONE !" I said  as I lunged at it and tackled it off of piper and I was riding on top of it and I started to stab it more and more until it stopped moving and fell to the ground and I fell off it before it disintegrated into Nothing but gold dust "Percy you...how... thank you for saving me." " yeah all in a days work  where is Annabeth? " " um I think I saw her with chiron  but percy what are we going to do about the fire"  just then I saw a blue Yankees cap on the ground it was Annabeth's but  she never leaves that behind ever because it's the only thing her mother gave her before she left her when she was little  " no...no No! THIS CANT BE HAPPENING" I screamed in rage " ANNABETH!!!" And then something in me snapped and I was standing and pulling the water from the lake over to where we were standing and it made a dome of water with a air bubble around us four , the fire was out in seconds all of it and I felt like I have become a lot stronger than this morning "Percy how are you?.." the water dropped  and I turned around " oh my gods percy you're nose" I lifted my fingers to my nose and there was dark blood it looked almost black " that's. ....not...good at al-" I fainted from the blood loss and I'm pretty sure that was a anurism

Pipers pov

"Oh my gods percy you're nose " " that's.... not .....good at al-"  oh no he fainted  ,he deserves rest but his injuries are fatal did he get them from the big one when he was trying to save me? There was a crowd behind us  I grabbed a piece of my shirt and ripped it off to stop the bleeding "Percy Jackson stay with me I'm not gonna let you die because you saved me and now I'm saving you " but I don't really know what I'm doing " someone help please I don't know what to do! " I cried  ,will solace stepped forward "piper keep his head elevated and use some nectar to wake him up or at least calm his bleeding down while I try to close the cuts!" Will ordered "out of my way ...move it " yelled Annabeth she stepped through the crowd and started to cry " piper what happened!?" She asked " i....I was trying to get away from the hellhound but it kept coming after me ,it had me pinned to the ground and it was going to kill me then percy he ...he distracted it or tried to but it didn't work and it turned back to me and then percy tackled it and somehow got on top of it and kept stabbing it to death then he saw your hat laying on the ground and started to scream and then he brought all the water from the lake over here he doused the flames away he ...he saved us all " " he put 30 kids in the imfirmarry,and 2 in the grave not to mention the damage that was done " "it's not his fault none of this wa-" "actually piper, percy was on guard  from the beginning " "well then how did they get in if he was there and how long was he out there " " he must have dosed off and to how long probably 10 hours maby 11" "WHY IN HADES WOULD YOU MAKE HIM STAND GUARD FOR 11 FUCKING HOURS!" I screamed in rage  "no wonder he dosed off he must have been tired as tartarus " (you guys might be wondering how she knew he was tired )

Flashback

I was just coming back from the canoe lake and I stopped to fix my hair then I heard a voice it was Percy's "hey piper C'mere for a sec " I walked over to him "hey percy what's up " he opened the box he was holding in his hand "Percy where did you get that omg's Annabeth is going to love it ,wait are you going to propose to her?" " Yeah and I didn't buy it Tyson helped me make it we were up all night and day making it and I'm going straight to Olympus right now and I wanted to show you it before I proposed" "wait why are you going to Olympus right now and how long did it take to make? " " um I'm going to Olympus to ask Athena for her blessing,and It took 34 hours to find all the ingredients and 10 hours to make the damn thing" " she's going to love it but percy get some sleep you look like you really need it"  "nah I'll sleep when I'm dead!" He yelled before he ran off to his car, I wish Jason proposed to me but he's been so distant ever since percy and Annabeth came back from tartarus  I don't know but I do know is that I have developed a little bit of a crush on percy I know what you're saying but it's just I never get enough of affection from Jason *that's because you turn down sex honey * " mom are you talking telepathically to me right now ?" * yes sweetie and you must stop thinking about Jason and start thinking about perceus jackson * " what but mom I have a boyfriend and I promised I drew I would never ever brake "percabeth" apart " * but sweetie it already sunk * she said sadly "what? " * oh nothing good by for now!* " mom wait what ....mom ...mom,damn you aphrodiety! "

End of flashback

"Piper what is the big deal iv seen percy stay awake longer than 24 hours 11 is nothing" "but Annabeth he has been awake for 3 days straight  exept for last night he said he only got 5 hours of sleep " "what? What was he doing for 3 days straight? " I couldn't tell her it wasn't my place " I don't know but he said that before he passed out " I lied her grey eyes looked confused as if I was a puzzle and she was trying to solve it just then percy started to cough "he's alive for now let's just get him somewhere safe " will said , two guys stepped forward and picked percy up

Percy'spov

I woke up in the imfirmarry and my head hurt alot
And I looked around and I saw Annabeth  " hey beautiful " "don't call me that " Annabeth Said harshly " Annabeth what's wrong " "your what's wrong " "what did I do?" I said confused "Percy you idiot the camp was attacked because of you you let in a hellhound and it was a alpha ,you sent 30 kids to the imfirmarry 2 dead  just because you couldn't stay awake long enough-" "I was out there for 11 hours chiron said it was only going to take 40 minutes but it wasn't my fault " "so you staying awake for 3 days isn't your fault 2 kids dying isn't you're fault you falling asleep wasn't your fault, my brothers death wasn't your fault? Your a liar and a murderer and a coward, percy jackson we're through don't talk to me or even look at me I hate you " she ran away" Annabeth wait, what did I even do?" I said crying into my hands
