Stuck in an Elevator

Chapitre Diecisiete.

            Great.

            It was pitch black outside, and now I was having a vision attack thing. I sucked in a breath and vowed not to cry.

            "D-Daniel?" My voice croaked out, trembling with terror. I couldn't see anything, and I was 20 feet up in the air.

            "Sky, what happened?" His concerned voice prodding my thoughts. I almost smiled, but I was in a near death situation here.

            "I can't see, my vision, it's-"

            "Jump." He said with almost no hesitation. Almost. I could sense him as scared as I was. But then I realized what he has just said.

            "What! Are you crazy Daniel?! I am no-" I spoke in a frantic voice, but what Dan wants, Dan gets. Because before I knew it, the tree branch that I had a death grip on began to break, and I came tumbling to the ground, onto Daniel.

            Only one of us got hurt that day.

            "Thank you." I said happily, licking my ice cream and smiling at the boy sitting next to me. 

            It was about 5 now, and Daniel took me to the outskirts of New York City, saying that there was a 24 hour ice cream place, and surely enough, there was. They had the best ice cream that I have ever had.

            "For what?" Daniel grumbled. He was angrily licking his vanilla cone, but he looked adorable. He rubbed his arm, which I fell on. He was upset that I had hurt him, even though he saved my life and he told me to jump. I couldn't help but pinch his cheeks while he glared at me, and licked the cone some more.

            "Saving my life."

            He relaxed a little bit, and smiled at me, not angry about me nearly killing him from falling off that tree.

            "It's no problem." He said casually leaning over and taking my hand into his.

            We were near the bridge, the water right in front of us. We decided to be badasses and sit on the ledge. If we leaned a bit more forward, we would be swimming in the ocean. 

            The moonlight was shining down on the sea, giving it a beautiful glint, but since it was almost time for the sun to come up, the moon was nearly gone, much to my dismay.

            I love the night.

            "Me too."

            Whoops. 

            I blushed, and this time he saw it, because the sun was coming up.

            "Look!" He pointed across, and the sun was coming up. It was peaking through the tall buildings, and it was a sight that you had to see to believe. It was absolutely beautiful. There was a ship passing through, honking it's horn, but that added to the beauty. (A/N: Picture of the view on the side!)

            I sucked in a breath, and I wanted to look at him, the man sitting next to me, whom I was falling for, hard and fast. But I couldn't look away.

            When you know that you are going to lose your vision soon, things like this make you so happy. I know that it was making me ecstatic. It was breathtaking, and I squeezed Daniel's hand.

            "It's so beautiful." I whispered, my eyes still hooked on the beauty. The sea that was reflecting the light from the sun, the building's silhouette from being in front of the sun. Everything was perfect.

            "You are." A voice whispered from beside me.

            Way to be cliche, Daniel.

            But it was still perfect.

            And honestly, everything was perfect.

            I just wish it lasted forever.

I know this is short, but please forgive me! I am seriously so tired from travelling, jetlag sucks so much!

My vacation was amazing! And getting back home to see that I had 30,000 reads made me cry! My mom came into my room looking very worried, while I just pointed at my computer screen to show her why I was so happy, while she just laughed and jumped up and down with me!
