Two Different Worlds In One(KanekiXReader)

Chapter 8

"Why hello there cute kitty!" he said, waving a hand to her. The male in the white suit didn't even bother looking at her, so she gathered some courage and spoke.

"Nya~ Hello there sir! Before I take your order, is there anything you would like to be called? Nya~ Like Master, Senpai, anything you desire! Nya~" she said, throwing on a cute accent. This caused Nico to 'awww' at her and think for a moment.

"I wouldn't mind being called Master Nico! What about you Yamori?" he asked the other male. He only grunted and looked out the window. "He's not much of a talker, sorry, so I guess I'll just be ordering for us! We'll just take to black coffees please!"

"Coming right up Master Nico! Nya~" (y/n) said, writing down the order and quickly heading over to the coffee machine. She felt a surge of relief wash down upon her. They weren't pervert or anything. The blonde guy had no interest in talking with her and the female guy was really nice, so there was nothing to worry about! All the other maids were rushing around, getting orders ready and taking orders. 

Some were cleaning and others were taking breaks. The cafe was really busy, but she was told that it was busy everyday, so she just had to get use to this. Once she got their orders ready, she put the cups of coffee on a tray and carried it over to them. "Here you go! Nya~"

She set the cups of coffee on the table in front of them and bowed. "If there's anything else you need, just call me over and I'll be there Master Nico! Nya~" she said. He only gave her a nod and she left to go take another costumer's order. Working here hasn't been so bad, but the outfit wasn't really her favorite. She had to get a job at a maid cafe out of all the places in the city. This was the doing of (best friend's name). 

Whenever it comes with (y/n) wearing something like a maid outfit or something, she always had something up her sleeve and that made her nervous. Last month she had Kaneki and (best friend's name) finally meet, and she was super nice to her, much to (y/n)'s relief. She just hopes that it would stay that way for a long while, if not, forever. Kaneki had introduced Hide to (y/n), and he was really super funny and fun.

He also asked embarrassing questions, for example: "Did you and Kaneki make love yet?" or "Did he seduce you with books?". That got him smacks from Kaneki, and Hide would just laugh it off and ask more embarrassing questions about the couple. After Hide had left, Kaneki had apologized for his behavior and she told him that it was nothing to worry about. He seemed like a fun guy and learned that he was Kaneki's childhood friend. 

She couldn't wait to meet up with Kaneki after her shift ends. She also still needs to tell him where she works. (y/n) never told him where she worked, just that she now has a job. She would freak out if he were to come here and see that she was in a maid outfit and that she had to say nya~ at the end of every sentence. If he would to come here, she would probably call him senpai or he would have her call him by his regular name.

An hour past and that Yamori and Nico guys had left and they paid (y/n) for the drinks, along with a tip. She was very happy for the tip and was about to thank them, but they were all ready gone. As she was cleaning a table, careful not to bump into one of the other maids, there was a chime at the door, indicating that a costumer walked in. And whenever a costumer walks in, they had to be greeted by one of the maids and this was part of her job to do for the day since she was new. Tomorrow either maid can greet a costumer. She stood straight up and smiled at the costumer.

"Hello! Nya~ Welcome to Little Cute Maids Cafe! Nya~" she said, swaying her hips and putting her paws up to her head and flicking them. Once she got a clear look at the costumer, she gasped.

"(y-y/n)!? You work here!?" Kaneki said, his face turning red. He never expected her to work here nor did he know of the cafe's existence. He couldn't help but stare at his girlfriend in the kitty maid costume. He thought that it looked very cute on her. No, he thought it looked, hot.
