Chapter 17

Though (y/n) got pretty emotional at one scene and cried. Kaneki had to calm her down and tell her that its just a movie, but she was still crying saying that its not just a movie and weakly slapped Kaneki, who only kissed her hand. It was eight twenty four and she wanted to go cuddle with her white haired boyfriend after she ate dinner.

She decided to ask him that question she wanted to ask him four months ago. It was going to be a little awkward, but she decided that she would ask him during their cuddling time. Then her mind wanders down to Touka. She remembered when Kaneki came back home and he was real quiet. When she asked him what's wrong, he only said Touka has really strong punches. 

She wondered if that was the first time in a long time if they had seen each other again. In fact, she hasn't seen her friend in a while as well. It wasn't like she wasn't allowed to see her, but she thought it would be a little awkward to though. If she were to up and leave to go visit her, she would probably receive a lecture. And Touka's lectures were always long and sometimes painful, because she would always pinch (y/n)'s cheek.

Then there was Hide. It's been awhile since her and Kaneki seen him. She knew that Kaneki was avoiding him and everyone at Anteiku, but he even asked her if she could as well avoid Hide. He knew that she couldn't tell lies easily, and he wants his friend to stay out of trouble, which was why he asked her. She told him she would, but she wasn't really close to Hide as Kaneki was, so it was a little easier. 

There was one person she wanted to see most of all. (best friend's name). (y/n) would always text or call her, but she would never answer. To her, it seems like she was ignoring her. It really hurts because she wants to see her friend, but if her friend has a reason in not seeing or talking to, then she respects it. Whenever her friend needed to do something, it was always for a reason. Maybe (y/n) would visit Touka during the summer, or fall, because she doesn't want to see her yet.

She looked over at Kaneki and smiled. He was humming as he was preparing her favorite meal and she was hoping for a romantic dinner. Like: cake, brownies, cookies, ice cream on the side and a milkshake. That was her idea of a romantic dinner. When she requested those, he refused to make it and asked what her favorite meal was. She told him what it was and he went on making it right away. She sighed. He was so in love with her and he was too damn caring. She loved that about him. 

All she wanted to do was hug him while he's cooking, but she knows he would only shoo her away. (y/n) was wearing one of his t-shirts and wore shorts since they were in the luxury of their home. If they were in public, she would still wear one of his t-shirts and wear her jeans. His clothes were so comfortable. When she had put his shirt on after their bath, he said that she was a pervert and that he would have to be cautious around her.

Though he's the one that she has to be cautious around since he was the pervert and she was innocent with an almost pure mind. (y/n) had read a certain kind of book that (best friend's name) gave her to read. The beginning was okay, but as she gotten deeper into the book, she then realized what type of book she was reading. Being curious, she kept on reading it until she finished the whole thing. She had never felt so dirty than she has in her life before. Shaking her head, she spoke up.

"Hey, Kaneki? Do you want to cuddle after I finish dinner?" (y/n) asked, sitting up and scratching her back. 

"Sure! I wouldn't mind," Kaneki said over his shoulder with a smile on his face. She smiled back and laid down on her stomach, sighing. She honestly finds it pretty attractive that he can cook. Honestly, she always wanted to cook for her lover, but since Kaneki was half ghoul, she couldn't exactly do that. When (y/n) said she was going to cook herself some dinner after the movie was over, he jumped right in and said he would do it for her. He was so sweet to her. She loves every inch of him just like he loves every inch of her.
