Chapter 18

Except they would tease each other, which was fun and cute. Mostly fluffy. (y/n) attacks her ice cream at the most frustrating parts. She wants Rachel and Ross to get together so badly! Her face was basically inside of the carton, eating away at the ice cream.

"Onee~chan! We're home!" Hinami cheerfully said, slamming the door open and skipping her way to her room. Kaneki chuckles and closes the door. (y/n) didn't even notice them. She was too busy stuffing her face with the delicious, creamy ice cream. He sees that she was watching her show and decided to say hi to her.

"(y/n), you need to take your head out of the carton. You don't want to get a face freeze now do you?" he chuckles, tapping her shoulder. She turns the TV off using the remote and takes her face out of the carton of ice cream, blue cream all over her face. He laughs and grabs a napkin off of the table and started to wipe her face.

"How was the book signing?" she asks him as he wipes her face down.

"It was fun. I got you a few books and myself some too. Hinami and I got to meet Takatsuki Sen. Turns out that he was a she. I'm so embarrassed for thinking that she was a guy. Well, she thought Hinami and I were boyfriend and girlfriend, but she quickly told her that I was like a big brother, and I couldn't help but feel honored," he said, wiping the remaining cream on her face and throwing the napkin away.

"That's good. So~ Do you want to hang out today? I know you just came back, but I'm so bored! Let's go do something," (y/n) said, getting off the couch and hugging Kaneki's arm. He sighed, thinking about it. It wouldn't hurt going out with his girlfriend.

"Sure! I'll just wait here wh- how'd you get ready that fast!?" he exclaimed, shocked that she was all ready dressed and ready to go.

"I'm bored! Now come on! Let's go!" she squeals, running out the door with Kaneki following after her. He made sure it was locked before he chased after her. Once he caught up with her he held her hand, having her slow down.

"You're so energetic," he snickers and she only stuck her tongue out at him. But quickly after that she smiles at him and pecks him on the cheek. They walked around, looking at all the stores. (y/n) would point to some decorations, admiring the work that was put into them. It was winter and Christmas had all ready past, along with the Near Year. The decorations were still up because they were so bright, beautiful, and alluring. She looked around, wondering what store she wanted to go. Kaneki was very patient with her, so he had all the time in the world. (y/n) spotted a store not too far from them. They did need more ice cream, along with some food, so she took her white haired boyfriend to the store.

"Okay, you get what you need to get and I'll get what I need to get. Once we're done, we can just look for each other. Does that sound all right?" she asked him as they entered the store.

"That sounds okay. I just need to get some coffee beans anyways, so I'll look for you after. See you then," he said, kissing her on the cheek and leaving to the coffee aisle. (y/n) grabbed a cart and walked around, looking at some of the food. She decided to grab a few snacks, thinking that she could have them whenever Kaneki and the gang head out. Hinami stays home of course, but there are a few times when she needs to go. So the snacks are for (y/n) to binge on while watching TV. She then thought about getting a few packs of meat, thinking that she could make herself some steak tonight. After grabbing so food that would go along with steak, she headed over to the meat section. She studied each meat, wondering which one looked good. (y/n) then went to the large one and put it in her cart. Since she got all the food she's gotten, she rushed over to the ice cream section, her eyes beaming.

She wanted to get (favorite ice cream). That was the flavor she enjoyed most and she was going to get it! Maybe even two cartons of it. When she entered the ice cream section, the air went from warm to cold. She really didn't care. They were in the middle of winter, so it didn't bother her at all. Once she gotten her two cartons of (favorite ice cream), she headed over to the coffee aisle, expecting to find her boyfriend there, but he wasn't. Sighing, she decided to look for him. Kaneki knew her well, so he had went over to the aisles that had her favorite foods and such. (y/n) tried to trail for him, wondering where he would be. Then suddenly, she felt a hand on her butt. She squeaked.
