The Catch-Up (Natsu x Reader)

Chapter 55

(Y/N) slowly walked, as Laxus and Gray were on both sides of her. Erza was behind her.

Running footsteps could be heard signaling that someone was coming.

(Y/N) grinned as soon as she saw Natsu turn the corner.

She walked slightly faster as Natsu ran towards her.

As Natsu got closer, (Y/N) started to run.

"(Y/N).." Erza began.

"Let her be Erza. If she falls, you already know that Natsu's going to catch her." Master Makarov said.

Erza sighed, but nodded.

As soon as they were close enough, Natsu wrapped his arms around (Y/N) and hugged her. (Y/N) did the same.

"You woke up." Natsu mumbled into (Y/N)'s hair.

"You and Gajeel were losing so bad, that it woke me up." (Y/N) said as she chuckled weakly.

"Dovey, you need to lay down." Natsu said as he glanced at (Y/N).

"And you need to be healed. And some different clothes because yours are torn from all of the damage Sting and Rogue did to you and Gajeel." (Y/N) said as she broke the hug and immediately got onto Natsu's back.

"Speaking of Gajeel, where is he?" Levy asked.

Natsu shrugged.

"You idiot!" (Y/N) said as she smacked Natsu's head.

"Oww! It's not my fault he fell into that mine cart and disappeared!" Natsu said as he rubbed his head.

Everyone sweat-dropped.

"Natsu. You pushed him into the mine cart." Lucy said.

"Oh yeah." Natsu said as he rubbed his head again, while smiling nervously.

(Y/N) smacked Natsu against the head again.

Natsu groaned again as he slapped (Y/N)'s hand away.

"Let's go you two. You both have to go to the infirmary." Master Makarov said.

Natsu and (Y/N) nodded and headed to the infirmary, while everyone else went back to watch the remaining fights.

(Your PoV)
"Where's Grams Porlyusica?" Natsu asked as he stepped inside the infirmary and closed the door.

"I told her that she could go back to the hotel." I said as Natsu set me on the bed.

"What?! But then who's going to heal me?! I'm dying!" Natsu said as he sat down on a chair near my bed.

I rolled my eyes, "You're be dramatic. And I'm going to heal you!"

Natsu frowned at me as he shook his head, "Dovey, you haven't recovered enough to be using your magic."

"I have so! I'm just a little tired that's all." I said as I looked at Natsu.

Natsu sighed, "You're obviously not going to take no for an answer. So go ahead."

"Yes!" I said as I grinned.

Natsu chuckled and shook his head.

I examined Natsu and grabbed some bandages.

"You're going to have to take off your shirt thingy.." I said as I blushed.

Natsu nodded and did what I said. He handed it to me and I set it on the bed.

"I can fix your shirt later." I said as I made Natsu sit on the bed next to me.

He nodded again.

"Actually, just lay down on the bed. I'll sit in the chair." I said as I sat down on the chair.

Natsu laid down on the bed and I scooted the chair closer to the bed.

I placed my hands over his stomach/abs and my hands began to glow.

"Don't use up too much of your energy, Dovey." Natsu said.

"I won't. Stop worrying." I said as I finished healing most of his stomach.

I then wrapped a bandage over his stomach and smiled.

I looked over at Natsu's face and noticed that he had a lot of cuts on his face.

'They're small cuts, so I don't have to use my magic..'

I then started to blush as I thought of something.

'I haven't used this trick in a while, but I should use it right now..'

"You can sit up now, Pinkie." I said as I looked at the ground.

I saw Natsu sit up and pat his stomach.

"It feels better now. Thanks Dovey!" He said as he grinned.

I looked at him and nodded.

I then stood up and sat next to him, while facing him.

"Hey Pinkie, face me." I said.

"Um okay.." Natsu said as he faced me.

"You have some cuts on your face, so I'll heal them. Okay?" I said.

He nodded.

"I don't want to use up my magic, so I'm going to have to lick you, okay?" I asked as a blush went across my face.

"What? Lick me?"
