"Nope, tonight is a first." he whispers, directing the statement straight into my ear.

The gruffness of his voice and the deep vibrations it sends shimmering deliciously across my skin has me weak at the knees as well as clinging onto his perfectly defined shoulders. I hate to admit it but I honestly believe that if it weren't for his strong hold around my body right now, I'd be a massive heap of goo on the floor.

Cliché, I know but I've seriously never seem muscles quite like it before.

I risk looking up to find his forest-like eyes, alight with pure mischief, locking onto mine before slowly roaming down towards my lips, causing my conscious mind to slip away.

Kiss me.

In this moment, with this complete stranger whose name I still don't know, everything ceases to exist. It's not 'love at first sight', hell, it's not even 'like at first sight' considering I sort of despise the guy but something in my mind just clicks and suddenly, every bad thing that has happened this last couple of weeks, disappears.

His face gets increasingly closer to mine and I notice for the first time the strong smell of honey and vanilla, seemingly emulating off of every inch of him. His smell, his looks, his touch; all of it is captivating me and I want him, now. As if reading my mind, his lips lightly graze against mine, causing my breath to hitch as the slight taste of beer heightens my senses. Then, much to my annoyance, the moment is ruined by the door to my right ripping open, revealing a very flustered looking Anna and a seemingly happy looking Gregg.

"Amelia!" she squeals, the slight slur in her voice hinting at her less than sober state.

The warm hands that once rested on my hips, suddenly move away, leaving me feeling cold and empty.

"What are you doing?" I stupidly ask, not thinking my question through, thoroughly before hand.

Both Anna and Gregg share a knowing look before their attention is turned back to me, a glimmer of playfulness swirling around in both pairs of eyes.

"Umm, I'll tell you later." she giggles, clearly finding the entire situation funny, much to my outrage.

She's far too drunk to be making decisions like that.

-I can only hope they used precautions.

"Anna, grab your stuff, we're leaving." I demand, not even trying to to hide my anger at my new found discovery.

Her somewhat glazed eyes start to widen as the meaning behind my words slowly sink into her alcohol fuelled mind and just as I'd anticipated, her protests begin.

"What! No, one more hour, please?" she begs. "We've only been here forty five minutes." she adds, moaning slightly, which annoys me.

I roll my eyes at her childish pleas and cross my arms, firmly, over my chest.

"I know and I think you've had more than your fair share of partying." I snarl, sounding more and more like a mother chastising her child by the second.

I direct my snarky comment towards Gregg who seems unfazed by my disapproving tone. Anna, on the other hand, picks up on it straight away, which is surprising, due to her current condition.
