Harry joined in for the chorus, and the both of us sang obnoxiously off key. "No one, no one, no one can get in the way of what I'm feeling."

I laughed so hard my stomach hurt as Harry carried off the chorus in a high pitched voice.

"No one, no one, no one can get in the way of what I feel for you, you, you. Can get in the way of what I feel..."

The song faded out, and an Alexis Jordan song came on instead. Harry and I wasted no time getting into it.

"I gotta turn this car around. I never should have left you there. Boy, this traffic is making me sick. Boy, I can't wait to have you near. I gotta hurry, hurry, hurry now, quick, quick, quick."

My eyes found an exit sign with the street name that would lead us back towards the ocean. I pointed to it, and without having to say anymore, Harry started lane-changing to make the exit.

By the time we found a parking spot near the pier, Diva was playing, and I didn't want to get out of the car.

He stood just outside of the open driver's side door with his arms crossed over his chest. I told him that if he turned off the car before the song was over, I would refuse to get out.

"This is a stick-up, stick-up. I need them bags, all that money...Stick-up, stick-up. You see them ask, 'Where that money?'"

I started taking a video of Harry on snapchat while I was singing. He shook his head slowly, attempting to keep a smile off his face.

"Na-na-na, diva is a female version of a hustla, of a hustla, of a, of a hustla. Na-na-na, diva is a female version of a hustla, of a hustla, of a, of a hustla..."

The video (and the song) ended just as Harry busted up with laughter. I put it on my story.

I reached over and turned off the car. "Okay, we can go now."

He met me on the other side of the Range Rover and swung his arm across my shoulders. With his other, he gestured out towards to ocean and the crowded pier.

"Surprise!" He expressed, a little less than enthusiastic. He was probably still bummed that he couldn't keep our destination a secret which was a shocker.

Ouch. Too early.

"What? Pier 39!" I pretended to be surprised.

He kissed the top of my head. "Thanks, Jessy."

I leaned into his chest and put my arms around his waist as we walked across the street. Combined, there were a hundred or so people on the beach, the pier, and near the shops. Families were playing in the water and little kids' joyful screams echoed from the sand.

Harry dropped his arm so that he could hold onto my hand instead. I, in turn, wrapped my right arm around his and pressed my cheek against his shoulder.

"It's so nice out," I mumbled. Harry agreed.

It couldn't have been any warmer than 75 degrees Fahrenheit and it wasn't as overcast today. With the black v-neck bodysuit and boyfriend jeans I wore, I was more than comfortable in the mild weather.
