Miranda's pov
Jason was performing onstage and playing Feel that again from the night train album. He's definitely got that teasy smirk when he plays. Me and Rachel headbang and sing along to it. After feel that again, he sings 1994. He sets down the guitar and the boys in the band pick up where he left off. He pulls me onstage, an arm around my waist. "Hey Joe, Joe, Joe Diffie! Joe, Joe, Joe Diffie! Can the real Joe Diffie please stand up?" Then he drops the mic dramatically as the band quiets down and the lights get dark. I can barely see him. The fans scream louder than before. The lights come back up. Jason has his guitar again. He tips his hat to the crowd. "Who thinks it's a little hot in here?" He shouts smiling. "Oh no wonder, we're about to burn it down!" He hands his guitar off again and clips a mic to his shirt, setting the handheld one down. He catches me by surprise by grabbing my hands and pulling me to his chest. His hands move to my hips, mine on his shoulders as he sings burnin' it down. "You're stuck in my head girl writin' the lines. Couldn't sing a song without ya if I tried, let's light it up like it's our last time." After he sings the chorus once with me singing along, he kisses me hard. He finished that song and looks at the crowd. "Hey y'all, how about I unveil a never before heard song to y'all! The band hasn't even heard this one!" They look confused. He gets his guitar back. I doubt I've heard it either. "Y'all take a break boys." He takes a sip out of his beer can. Then strums to the song. "This song is about a girl. A very special girl I met a while back that changed my life so much and this rugged cowboy will never be the same again." Oh Jason! My face gets red. I smile and cross my arms. "Y'all wanna hear it?" He teasingly asks. They scream so loud I have to cover my ears. He laughs and fixes his earpiece. "Well ok if you insist. I laugh. "I wear a greasy ball cap. I like my shirt untucked. I spend Saturdays workin' on my truck! I don't like to fight but I ain't scared to bleed, yeah most don't mess with a guy like me. Cause guys like me drink too many beers on Friday after work, our best blue jeans have Skoal rings we wear our boots to church, so rough around the edges it's hard to believe that girls like you...... Love guys like me!" He smiles at me. "Your daddy worked at the bank. Mine worked on cars, you went to college I pulled graveyard. Ya mudta had your pick of all the trust fund guys but you came back to em only God knows why! Cause guys like me drink too many beers on Friday after work." I love this song and I know it's about me. "There's a lot of guys like me out there in a lot of a little towns, we keep tellin' all our buddies we won't ever settle down! We say that's just the way we are and the way will always be..... So God sends girls like you...... For guys..... Like..... Me! Thank God there's girls like you for guys like me!" He grabs my hands and kisses me softly. I close my eyes as fireworks go off behind us. "I love you so much." He whispers. "You are the most amazing man I've ever known." "Give it up for the countriest most amazing tomboy in history, my hot sexy girlfriend!" The fans scream. "Oh wait, I said the wrong thing." He says laughing and shaking his head. Now I'm confused. "Huh? What do you mean?" I ask. He lowers the mic and puts a hand to my cheek. "I meant to say wife." My eyes go wide. "Oh Jason..... Yes!" I gasp, hugging him tightly. "Me and my girl getting married!" He yells, throwing our hands in the air. Wow Jason just proposed to me!
