Tsukiko~(an Inuyasha fanfic) [[^COMPLETED^]]

Chapter 20: Enter Fuyukotsu the Beast of Darkness

Tsukiko no longer has the power to get up or to struggle as Fuyukotsu grabs her by the neck and lifts her high to the air, 
"Ugh!..." Tsukiko groaned,
"I shall destroy the light and you, it's vassal," Fuyukotsu said with a wicked smile on his face,

Just then, Kagome and the others came
"Tsukiko!" Everyone's surprised to see Tsukiko being choked,
"That must be Fuyukotsu!" Miroku said

"Oh look, your friends have finally arrive, attack!" Fuyukotsu commanded the corpses to attack Inuyasha and the others,
"Their...corpses!?" Miroku said
"HIRAIKOTSU!!!" Sango attacks the corpses but it's no use, the corpses got up again,
"They won't die!?" Kagome said

"Go!" Kagome shot an arrow, and instantly one of the corpse is purified and it's body turn to dust,
"Even if we destroy the body, the puppet will only bring it back to life again," Miroku said as he took out a sacred sutra "Sacred Sutra!" Miroku threw three sutras,
"TENSEIGA!!" Sesshomaru used his Tenseiga at the corpses and they are purified as well,

Meanwhile, Fuyukotsu is trying to destroy the light inside Tsukiko,
"Now then,.." Fuyukotsu's hand glowed dark,
"Ugh! N..No," Tsukiko tried to struggle but it's no use,
Just as Fuyukotsu's hand almost reaches Tsukiko, a light suddenly appear from her chest which made Fuyukotsu flinched his hand away,

'Damn you...even though I've murdered many of those people, I still cannot hurt her or the light,' Suddenly a sacred arrow came flying toward Fuyukotsu, which causes him to let go of Tsukiko,

"Witch!" Fuyukotsu scolded, "It appears this is your lucky day Tsukiko," Fuyukotsu left by flying away on a dark cloud, then Byakuya appears from the trees and he flies off on his paper crane,

Tsukiko sees her friends still trying to fend off some of the remaining corpses, with her remaining strength, she created an enormous, golden-yellow explosion of light to fully purify all of the remaining corpses,

The attack drained all of her energy, as she fell to the ground she uttered "Thank...goodness," She sees Inuyasha, Kagome and the others also...Sesshomaru running toward her with a worried expression before she completely loose consciousness,

Nightfalls.....
The others brought Tsukiko back to Kaede's village, they waited for her to wake up,
Tsukiko is resting in Kaede's house with Kagome, Sango, Kaede, Jaken and Shippo, also Rin,

Just then, Tsukiko groans as she slowly open her eyelids,
"Tsukiko! Are you alright?" Rin asked and Tsukiko only nodded,
"I'll tell the others that you're alright," Sango said as she gets up,

"Tsukiko, does your wound still hurts?" Kagome asked her, and Tsukiko shakes her head "No...,"
"Okay that's good then," Kagome said relieved,

Then Inuyasha, Sesshomaru, Miroku and Kohaku came inside,
"Hey, how are you doing?" Inuyasha asked with a soft tone,
"It's fine.." Tsukiko answered,

"It seems that Fuyukotsu's attacks are quite dangerous, even Tsukiko's wounds aren't healing fast, it could be the same for you Inuyasha, if you are also hit, your wounds will be hard to heal," Miroku said
"Yeah..." Inuyasha agreed,

"Tsukiko, no you have to lie down and rest," Kgome said as Tsukiko tried to sit up,
"It's fine.." Tsukiko leans to the wall, "I still don't understand why he killed all of those villagers, what would he gain from that?" Tsukiko said

"Well that's something we have to find out,"
"Say how many villages did you went to?" Inuyasha asked
"Let's see....I've visited.....5 villages," Tsukiko said
"So that means that there's one more left," Inuyasha said

"It's the one where I met you all," Tsukiko said
"Tomorrow we'll go, you stay here Tsukiko," Sesshomaru said
"What? Why can't I go?" Tsukiko asked him,
"You're still wounded, you'll only be a burden to us," Sesshomaru said as he gets up,
"My wounds will heal tomorrow morn-ugh!" Tsukiko suddenly felt pain coursing through her body,

"You expect to fight in that state? You're still weak to run or even walk, you're staying here and that's final," Sesshomaru said finally leaving the house,
"...but I wanna help too..." Tsukiko said disappointed,
"It's alright Tsukiko...just leave everything to us, Rin and Kaede will take care of you, Shippo is going to stay here," Kagome said
"Sesshomaru's right, in your state you'll only make yourself more sick, we don't want you to get even worse," Miroku said

Tsukiko just nodded knowing if she tries to refuse, they still won't allow it
'He said I was a burden.....Sesshomaru...' Tsukiko thought,
Then she sees a familiar yellow sash soaked in blood,
"Hey that sash..."
"Oh yeah, it's lord Sesshomaru's," Rin said
"What? But why is it soaked in blood? W-was he injured?" Tsukiko asked

"For your information girl, Lord Sesshomaru used his sash to stop your bleeding wound!" Jaken said which made Tsukiko surprised,
"What?.." Tsukiko was unable to believe it,
"Yeah, when you passed out, Sesshomaru quickly undo his sash and wraps it around your wound, good thin he did that or else you'll lost a lot of blood," Kagome said

Tsukiko was surprised to hear Sesshomaru's strange action, but deep down she also felt......happy,

Meanwhile....
"Ahahahaha," Naraku suddenly laughs after Fuyukotsu arrived at their hideout,

"Shut up," Fuyukotsu said annoyed,
"That didn't go as you planned, did it?" Naraku said

"Damn it! Even though I killed those villagers and consumed their despair, the light still has the power to repel me!" Fuyukotsu said tightening his fist,
"So all of those slaughtering was for that purpose?" Naraku asked,
"....the darkness will grow even stronger when it feeds on any negative emotions," Fuyukotsu said
"So like the Shikon jewel, it will turn more evil and blacker by consuming on people's negative emotions, huh!"

"Damn it! There must be something that I am missing," Fuyukotsu said
"Apparently there's one more village that's left," Byakuya said
"Huh! So there's one more...I'll kill every last of those villagers!"

"Huh! And as for the next crystal?" Naraku asked
"I will have them all by the time I weakened that girl and the light," Fuyukotsu said then he left to set up a plan to kill the villagers, and Byakuya followed him,
