I don't think my face has ever been redder than it is at this moment. I hide my blush beneath the blanket and Louis laughs at me.

"Well, should we start going downstairs?" I ask and Louis smiles.

"Yeah, I guess. And, happy birthday." He says before getting up and exiting the room, leaving me with a smile planted on my face.

"So, Louis and you eh?" Mum says as Louis leaves into his porsche, while we walk back into the house. I try to stop the blush forming on my face.

Why is it so awkward talking to (adoption) parents about this stuff?

"It was our first one." I defend myself and she ruffles up my hair.

"You too are so cute together. I ship it." She says and I stay there amazed that she actually knows what ship means.

Smart mother.

"Haha, I do too." I add and she laughs too. We make our way into the house and I check my phone, getting a text from Louis.

Louis: Heyo, just got some oreozzzz, reminded me of you

Amber: Lol

Amber: I like how oreos remind you of me

Louis: *Oreozzzzz

Amber: Fine oreozzzzz

Louis: Atta girl

Amber: I'm not a dog

Amber: Also, you remind me of an old writer

Louis: Why?

OMG you don't know the feels I went through writing this :D

Its so awkward because your like stalking them, but amazing cause u just want to get them together when ur writing a kissing scene :D
