"Why should I?" She growled.
"The humans will take it back anyway, you'll be sent away in a cage. Give me the egg, pretend to chase me and I'll lead you away. You can be free."
"A fake egg in return for freedom..." She mulled over it for a moment and then nodded. "Very well, I will obey."
"Good. I'll be flying away in a moment, follow after me, roar a few times, make it look real. Just try not to burn me to a crisp please I'd like to make it back to my intended in one piece." The dragon's gaze softened.
"I understand." She said. Harry took off the dragon following behind him, they circled for a while until Harry darted off behind the school.
"Well, I'm pretty sure if you fly low for a while you'll be able to get away. They'll probably pursue you though." Harry said.
"It's quite alright little one, I can handle myself. You go back." She said she wrapped her tail around him for a second a warmth spreading through his bones. "A blessing from an old dragon, let the winds always speed your way and the mountains tremble at your roar." She said.
"And to you a naive child's hopes. May your hunts be prosperous and your life fulfilled." He replied. They parted ways Harry returning to the stadium with the egg in his arms, he told them the dragon lost interest in the egg and flew away once Harry managed to convince her it was fake. "I wasn't going to chase it down and bring it back."
"We understand." Igor said. "And you have passed the first challenge." Harry found Luna waiting outside the tent a few dominant girls and many subs admiring the ring and mark she wore on her hand. Harry walked over and wrapped his arms around her and rested his head on her shoulder in a less in your face way of saying 'she's mine don't get any ideas'. One of the dominant battered her eyes at him.
"Looking to complete the triad?" She asked. It was Luna's turn to fend off the Dominants for Harry.
"He's not." She said narrowing her eyes.
"I'd like to be with just Luna for as long as my magic will let me." Harry said nuzzling her hair. "And maybe longer." Luna smiled triumphantly, while she understood Harry would need a dominant she couldn't help but be jealous. Her look of triumph was dulled by the fact that the girls looked like they were staring at a baby duck.
"That's so sweet." A sub cried. "And the ring is so pretty, where did you get it. Luna was interested in this as well. Harry looked at his feet and mumbled something. "What was that, sweetheart."
"I made it." He said. There was a hush amongst them. He wondered if he'd said something wrong.
"You made this." Luna said looking upon the ring like it was something beyond the price of her life.
"Y-yeah... Was I not supposed to?"
"That's like the best kind of gift." A sub assured him. "It has a much more sentimental feeling than buying one from a store. It just makes me sad that I wouldn't be able to get one. It's so pretty. Is this the first gift?"
"Yes." Harry said.
"I don't know how you'll top that. Maybe a matching necklace and earrings."
"Harry! There's a party going on and your not there." Ron shouted. Harry, Luna and the group of admirers followed after the red head. Harry had his left arm over Luna's shoulder while cradling the egg in the right. When they entered all eyes were on him.
"Bloody hell, Harry." Was all Blaise could say.
"How'd you do it?" Hermione asked.
"Parceltongue." Harry mumbled.
