"(y/n) and Naruto are the prize the Akatsuki are after. And make no mistake, we will have them."

(y/n) and Naruto were worried and paranoid all that day, "Don't get the wrong idea. It's not you that they want, it's what's inside of you two. There is no doubt in my mind it's the nine-tailed fox they're after. They might even be thinking of somehow seizing control of that power, and trying to bend it to their will."

Naruto thought the same thing, and picked up his pace. "Will you two come on already?! Stop getting ahead of us!" Sakura yelled. "I can't take this anymore!" Naruto yelled. Temari and Sakura looked shocked. "I know why they are after Gaara. It's the same exact reason why they are after my sister and I!"

(y/n) looked back. "Exactly. It's not like it's a mystery, or anything. You know it too, Sakura."

"There is no point in hiding it. The spirt of the nine-tailed fox is sealed away inside of (y/n) and I." Naruto said. Sakura put her head down, knowing it was true.

"Hey look, it's those kids. Let's get out of here." a female voice said. The pink haired girl looked at two sadly, the names the they used to call the twins, the sadness and loneliness they must have had indure. From missing the love of a parent.

"Gaara, my sister, and I are the same. We both have monsters locked up inside of us. That's what those bastards are after." Naruto explained. "And that's the worse part about it. To them we're just monsters. All those bastards see is the means to an end." (y/n) added.

"A demon, huh? My demon is as real as yours is. I was born a monster."

"Everything about us was exactly the same. And he had to fend for himself a lot longer than Naruto and me ever did." (y/n) said. Temari looked down, ashamed.

"To them, I was a relic of the past. That they wished would disappear. What then was left for me in this existence? Why go on living any further? For a long time, I couldn't find an answer to that. But in order to live, you need a purpose. To exist for no reason, it's the same as being dead."

Growing up, the twins had Iruka-Sensei.
Gaara only had himself.

Kakashi then came into the picture, Sakura and Sasuke as well.

Gaara bared loneliness.

"And now he's a target of the Akatsuki, one more thing we have in common." Naruto said. (y/n) sighed. "Why should his life be so full of misery all the time? Why is it always him?" The red head clenched her fists as she spoke. "That's why we've got to hurry, ya know. We don't have second to waste!"

Naruto and (y/n) both went at the same fast pace. "This time it'll be different!" Naruto yelled. "We're going to be there to save him!" (y/n) informed the group.

Tears were forming in the twins eyes. Temari who was behind the two, felt the tears swish back. "Naruto and (y/n) Uzumaki. I thank you."

"why am I crying tf" (y/n) thought to herself.

"He's regained consciousness, you say?" Baki said. "Yes, he has. But he's just barely able to respond to us, sir. His condition as worsened than yesterday."

"B-baki, it was him. T-he red s-sand."

Baki's eyes widened. "I see, so he wrapped up in all of this!"

Baki entered a small room and informed the ninjas inside of it. "Contact the pursuit corps, now! They're to turn back immediately."
