As I wipe the sleep out of my eyes the bedroom door opens slowly and by the frame was my wife and my daughter.
A laugh escapes my lips as I smile widely. "Are you two serious?" I ask as I watch them look at each other with accomplished smiles.
"Mom said to surprise you!" Lori giggled as she ran to me and wrapped me in her tiny arms.
I felt my heart melt as Perrie sat beside Lori and placed a tray with a stack of Pancakes in front of me.
"Lori, is this for me?" I ask.
She nodded and placed a kiss on my cheek.
"Yeah!" she shouted.
"Goodmorning baby." Perrie smiled as she joined her lips with mine.
"Goodmorning," I answer "thank you for this. For everything actually. For the food, our daughter, your love for me. It was all unpredictable that we would last this long."
