Chapter 35: Shippo's crush

In the end, the drunkards are tasked to clean the whole restaurants, like washing the dishes, sweeping the floor, mop the floor and other house works, until nightfall
"Wow...Harumi sure is scary," Miroku said as he peeks through the gap of the door,
"It's amazing how she was able to threaten the men," Kagome said
"Well serves them right," Sango said

"Oh yeah where's Shippo?" Inuyasha asked,
"Hmhm...he's probably on a date," Kagome said
"A date!?" Inuyasha said

As for Sesshomaru he's at the corner of the room, his eyes wander through the room but he doesn't see Tsukiko,
"Where is she?..." Sesshomaru whispered,

Meanwhile...
Shippo is outside sitting on a balcony along with Akane, the two of them are looking away from each other in embarrassment,
"...t-thank you...Shippo," Akane thanked him,
"Y-you don't need to thank me!...Anyone would help you out!" Shippo said flustered,
"But still....I was happy!" Akane said to him with an innocent smile,

"Anyway...it's been awhile since I talk with a boy my age," Akane said
"That so?" Shippo said
"Yeah...that's why...I'm really happy that I can be friends with you, Shippo!" Akane took his hand with a big smile on her face,

Because of what she said, Shippo's face turns redder like a tomato, while gripping his hand tighter on Akane's hand,
Meanwhile behind the door, Tsukiko is peeking through a gap watching the two of them,

"Hehehe they're so cute," Tsukiko said in a whisper,
Suddenly someone pulled Tsukiko to another room, Tsukiko tried to break free

"Shush! It's me," Tsukiko recognize the voice, when she looks up it's Naraku,
"N-Naraku!...you surprised me," Tsukiko held her chest,
"Sorry..." Naraku apologized,

"Ha...it's fine, anyway what do you want?" Tsukiko asked him,
"I just want to have a little chat," Naraku said
"Ohh...I see," Tsukiko said

Even though Naraku said he wanted to talk, the room is silent.....
"Uhhh..." Tsukiko said with a confused face,
"...I've been in a situation like those drunkards before," Naraku said nostalgically,
"Really?"
"I was once a thief...you might as well know that," Naraku said
"Ohhhh,"

"Wait, so you're saying you've been in a place like this before?" Tsukiko said sounding a bit serious,
"Yes..-ugh?" When Naraku turns to look at Tsukiko, she's giving him an annoyed face,

In Tsukiko's head she's thinking a possible and inappropriate scene
"N-no! I've never done anything!" Naraku tried to defend himself "...well maybe I did..once played with a girl.." Naraku said that last sentence, which make Tsukiko even more angry,

She slumps to the ground holding her head,
"Really...who would've thought you're also a womanizer..." Tsukiko said
But Naraku smirks at her annoyance and pulled her toward him,

"Wha-!" Tsukiko falls onto his chest,
"We're you perhaps....jealous?" Naraku whispered in her ear,
"Wha-! Of course not! I understand that men are like that!" Tsukiko tried to break free, but Naraku hugs her even tighter,

He placed his chin on Tsukiko's shoulder and sighs, making Tsukiko blush even red,
"R-really! Let go!" Tsukiko pushed herself from Naraku, she faced opposite from him,

Naraku smirks at her embarrassment, but his face becomes serious all of a sudden,
Then he realize the scarf Sesshomaru gave her on the other night....
"On that day...I wasn't able to protect her....But now.." Naraku thought as he get close to her, and he pulled her closer again with one hand,
"N-Naraku....seriously..!" Tsukiko tried to break free again,
"Please be still...just..for a moment," He whispered,

"W-what?...why is he..? But...this time it's different...it feels more..gentle..." Tsukiko thought in her mind,
"Tsukiko..." Suddenly his face is right in front of Tsukiko just inches away, and his lips slowly touches her lips
Shocking Tsukiko in the process.....

But then....

The door suddenly opens and there stands....
"Sesshomaru," Naraku said in a low ad annoyed voice,
"Naraku," Sesshomaru said in the same tone,

Sesshomaru briskly went toward Tsukiko and pulled her away from Naraku, he held her head to his chest,
Both men glares angrily at each other,
"U-Um...!" Tsukiko became anxious from the situation,
In the end, Naraku smirks

"Hmph....it appears that our chat ends here Tsukiko," Naraku said but his eyes are onto Sesshomaru,
"I won't lose to you...Sesshomaru!" Naraku said in his mind,
"I won't hand her over to you!" Sesshomaru thought,

In the end Sesshomaru pulled Tsukiko out from the room, but before she lost sight of Naraku,
Naraku gives her a smile before disappearing from his sight,

Sesshomaru kept on pulling her and brought her out onto the balcony,
"S-Sesshoma-wha!?" Suddenly she is embraced by Sesshomaru,

".........." There is only silent between them,
Sesshomaru hugs her tightly which causes the heat to rise toward her cheeks,
"U-Um-!" Then Sesshomaru gazes at her passionately, his face a few centimeters away from her,

As his face grew closer, Tsukiko quickly shuts her eyes but nothing happened,
Tsukiko slowly opens her eyes and see that Sesshomaru is readjusting her scarf that was disarray,
"Your scarf was in disarray," Sesshomaru said
"T-thank..you," Tsukiko thanked him,

"I wonder...why do I feel a bit...disappointed?" Tsukiko thought

"....I won't do it..." Sesshomaru said
"Huh?..." Tsukiko stares at him confused,
"Not until....you made your decision...I won't hurt you," Sesshomaru said "....I won't do anything to you....that's my promise,"

"Sesshomaru...."
"....well then...good night..." Sesshomaru said before exiting the balcony, leaving Tsukiko with her heart still beating hard...

"Sesshomaru..." She softly touch the scarf he gave her,
"Thank you...." She said silently....

But...up on the roof of the restaurant, Byakuya saw what happened between Sesshomaru and Tsukiko, and of course what happened between her and Naraku,
"My, my...what an interesting girl she is indeed..." Byakuya said before returning to the restaurant,
