"What's the time?" You mumbled and felt yourself sink into the bed.
"10 somethin'. You should probably go to sleep." Sans chuckled as you nodded. At this point, you couldn't even keep your eyes open. Instead, you allowed yourself to surrender to the darkness of sleep.

"(Y/n)." Flowey was in your face with a serious stare. "Earth to (y/n)."
He started to bounce around a bit in front of your eyes to catch your attention, causing you to blink. You noticed that his petals weren't the bright golden yellow that they normally were; instead, they were dusty and worn, almost as if he was running from something constantly.
"Huh?" You shook your head and looked past Flowey to see Gaster moving some tables around with his magic.
"She's here, Gaster." Flowey muttered and turned to the skeleton. He nodded and looked down at you.
"We have some bad news, (y/n)."
"Bad news?" Flowey spat in disbelief. "If anything, this is horrible, terrible! Monsters and humanity is going to go instinct!"
"Wait, wait. Slow down. What is happening?" You asked, trying to process what you just heard. Gaster was about to speak, when Flowey butted in and spilled the entire situation.
"Okay, so some stupid human fell into the Underground and Chara killed him!" Flowey screeched and started to flail around in panic. "She took his soul and she left the Underground while you were flirting with the fricken SMILEY TRASHBAG!"
You drew back in surprise at his sharp tone. "Why didn't you keep her down here?!"
"I don't have enough power to contain her!"
"What'd you expect me to do then?!" You yelled at the flower, trying to defend yourself. "I can't just control souls under my own will!"
"But you know someone who does!"
"Who?" You challenged and threw your hands up into the air. "Who, Flowey?!"
"You really don't know?" The flower looked up at you expectantly and turned away from you to take in a deep breath. Turning back around, he let out a laugh. "You really are an idiot."
He paused, waiting for a response. You didn't know what to say as he ruffled up his petals in victory.
"Sans, (y/n). Sans can kill Chara if he wanted to." Flowey growled as you silently took in the new information. You found yourself not that surprised, due to how strong he was when he defended you from the humans that had attacked you the week before.
"He wouldn't though. He's too nice-"
"And lazy." Flowey spat and looked back at Gaster, who had been listening to the situation. You frowned and made your way over to a nearby table to sit on, thinking about how to cope with incoming danger. You knew Chara was a monster; she'd kill anyone mainly because, she hated humanity...at least that's what you've been told. You continued your thoughts when a sudden realization rolled into your brain.
"Wait..." You looked up Gaster, meeting eye contact with him. "If you're Sans' father, then wouldn't you have similar magic abilities to Sans, therefore you could control souls too?"
"She has a point." Flowey muttered and glanced up at Gaster too, waiting for a response. Gaster froze for a second and sighed. He shook his head and snapped his fingers, allowing for him to summon a purplish aura hand, similar to his own. That hand floated to the other side of the room, picked up an object, and returned to Gaster.
"Sans, Papyrus, and I all have the similar abilities up to creating, controlling, and manipulating bones." Gaster started and used his purple hand to reveal the object to you and Flowey, which was a small remote. He then turned on the screen and searched through the files for an odd looking diagram of the two skeletons.
"As you can see," Gaster started to point out some wording in his diagram and turned to you, "Papyrus and Sans have the ability to turn a human soul into a blue color, allowing them to control where the soul and the host can go. The difference between the two is that, Sans can control which direction the soul or the host can go, which can be up, down, left, right, etc. Whereas Papyrus can only hold the soul down, but for a longer period of time." Gaster paused to check for understanding, which you nodded to allow him to keep going. "They both also have the ability to control 'blue attacks' which can only deal damage when the soul/host is moving, which I do not have."
"Yeah, yeah, yeah. What's the purpose for this entire explanation?" Flowey asked, obviously getting annoyed with all the details. You found them quite interesting but under the current circumstances, you can understand where he's coming from. "We're not here for a compare and contrast, buddy. We need to somehow stop Chara from wiping out the entire monster and human race."
"(Y/n) seemed interested." Gaster murmured and turned off the slide, and glanced at the two glass cylinders in the middle of the room sadly. "But, I guess that's a story that can wait."
"A story? Sounded like a documentary." Flowey grumbled and shook his head. "Whatever. (Y/n). Please find a way to stop Chara."
"Please?"
"Yeah, idiot."
