Return (Name).
Gaster towered over us threateningly, his half lidded eyes sent chills down my spine and his grin still made me shiver.
I am Gaster, the one that ruined your pathetic timeline.
A faint memory of Papyrus running towards me with open arms flickered across my mind.
8 minutes and 27 seconds are enough for me to kick your worthless ass.
My eye flashed for a moment in anger and I raise my hand up, taking extra care of the thin string before my mind went blank.
I have a vague outline of what happened, bones jamming out of the floor and catching Gaster by shock, CORE pulling Ink out of the way, Chara pinned inbetween 2 bones and my hands shaking violently. Gaster Blasters surrounded the area and faced him, shooting out rays as I flung myself backwards to avoid the impact. I expected him to expect that, after all, being desperate has its outcomes, like creating bones instead of using my wires usually, calling upon my blasters when I actually just used them for removing universes.
What was I so desperate about?
I tore a rift and shot through it, using the bright lights as a cover while I closed it behind me. I heaved heavily and began trudging through the void, feeling as if I was walking through wet cement instead of nothing. My eyes looked towards the string slowly, exhausted and tired, before I began to follow it, desperate to reach to the only thing I could look forward to.
I came upon what seemed to be a watery gate, and pushed it open without thinking. A house stood behind it, and I took a while to register it.
I burst through the main doors and threw myself up the stairs, breathing loudly as I came across a familiar room, slamming the door open and looked at the tall figure standing in the middle. He looked out of place with the dark blue and black colours compared to the lighter background. He smiled wide and opened his arms.
He exclaimed cheerfully. "BROTHER!"
I felt something cross my cheeks before I flung myself at him. I clutched him harder even though I could feel myself beginning to sink into the paint. The black seeped into my jacket and even so, I felt the warm strong arms wrap around me. My tears continuously fell, me sobbing into Papyrus' torso as everything came crashing down. He still felt so warm, as if he was an actual thing. But you and I know (Name) just loved to spite me.
The figure collapsed like melted snow as my arms suddenly felt empty. I fall onto the paint, weeping quietly.
It's been a long, hard day.
"I know it has," the voice cooed softly.
It sounded exactly like the Papyrus voices I used to think of, however this one had a more soothing tone to it, as if genuine about calming me down. I desperately scooped up the remains with the best of my ability, though at some point I wasn't even clear as to what I was scooping up through all the tears.
It finally took a while before my eyes shot open, puffy from the crying as I realized I was cleaned up and tucked in bed.
The smell of something delicious wavered its way into the room as I opened the door silently. I took the stairs down, relishing how it was an exact duplicate and that everything was just as how I remembered it.
Except for (Name) in the kitchen stirring some stew.
I screamed in panic and knocked them over, sending streams of hot stew flying everywhere from the ladle. They screamed as well and threw the ladle midway through falling, which was quite an impressive feat. The ladle hit my eye and I flung myself at them, grabbing their waist with the wires and forcing them against the ceiling. The two of us stared at each other for a brief moment before I dropped them again.
