Chap.21

'I'm going to get him back'

I swim to the surface to see that he's already swimming away to go play football with Keith and Chase. With a sigh I swim over to Vet and we play some water games laughing and talking having the time of my life.

'I can't remember the last time I had this much fun'

I thought to myself when suddenly someone drags me under the water pulling me to them, and out of instinct I started kicking till I could see who it was. "OW! Got damn it woman it's only me!" Screamed Austin then I stopped and said a soft sorry then noticed how close we had gotten. So close I could feel his breath on my face. 

'Minty'

Without thinking we start moving closer... One kiss wouldn't hurt as I look closer at his full lips.

"WATCH OUT!" Yells Keith as we pull apart and dive under the water as the football starts heading towards my face. When we come up we give each other a look that I can't find an explanation for other then pure disappointment. I was ready for it- hell- I was wishing for it but, of course someone would have to come and ruin it. So with a audible sigh from both of us I look up at the sky. "We should head back and have a bonfire, it's getting dark" I say to Austin who shyly glances at me and giving me a slight nod as we head back to sore.

KIETH'S POV:

I love the fact she thinks she can just ignore me- I love the fact that she thinks that she no longer belongs to me and that I have nothing over her. I can tell she obviously hasn't told them about me. The little slut has 6 guys to fuck! I can't deal with this... This is all just to much! When I was in boarding school I couldn't have what I wanted- AKA- a good fuck since it was an all boys school all I had was my playboy magazines and the internet to keep me going. But, when I came back I made sure that I had everything I wanted and the only way to do that is to go to the beach and get all the girls I could! Now, I've been here for a while and got involved in some pretty bad stuff to make money since my deadbeat parents won't help me anymore. Boarding school was supposed to keep me away and never come back. I guess it didn't work out to well... Getting back to the task on hand I have made a vow to let everyone know who that bitch belongs to... She couldn't stand up for herself then and I know she's not going to stand up for herself now.

INVERY'S POV:

It's around 10pm and we are all sitting around the fire with the liquor Alec so kindly supplied us with as we decided what drinking game to play. "Lets play 'Never Have I Ever'" said Vet. Everyone seemed content with that idea as Cole said he would start first. We all poured ourselves a cup of Vodka and got ready for the first thing he had to say. "Never have I ever...-" he took a pause to think before smirking at me and Vet "-Sucked a dick" he said as he started to laugh when Vet and I took a long sip. We know the rules; Now we have to tell about it... So I guessed I would go first glancing at Keith who had an eyebrow raised knowing I never did that for him.

'Never have, never will... with your incompetent ass' 

"I was met this guy at my- job- and things just happened" I said with a shrug while the guys snickered when I said job knowing that the three people from my past know nothing about my present life. Then we looked at Vet ready for what she had to say "I had just moved and I went to this party and was shit ass drunk... Woke up the next morning with white- droppings all over my clothes and my neck and that's when I knew I had fucked up" She finished with a chuckle. Now that I think about it: I never asked her how her time there and honestly that makes me feel like a horrible person- yet alone a Best Friend.
