"Me too, darling. I bet she had a beautiful soul just like her daughter." he replies, pulling on my head as to better enable his kissing access.
It's a sweet and caring exchange at first but soon becomes a moment of heated passion as our tongues interlock with one another in a dance to claim dominance. Having denied ourselves of this for so long, it's no surprise we're making up for lost time, exploring each other in the most primal of ways possible. His hands are flying around in every which direction; in my hair, at my back, before eventually settling behind my thighs. Then, without so much as a warning, I find myself being lifted off of the ground before being gently placed in the centre of his bed, eagerly so.
"Oh God!" he suddenly moans, breathing his appreciation down my neck. "You're perfect, so so perfect darling." he continues, making his way south, towards my stomach.
"I need this, Aidan. I need you." I breath, running my fingers through his thick hair and pulling ever so slightly on his roots.
"But not now, not like this?" he questions, reaching my bellybutton over the material of my dress and subjecting it to a soft kiss.
"Not our best timing," I laugh, feeling under his shirt for the six pack I know lies beneath.
Amazing!
His hard muscles run along my palms with great ease and it takes every last inch of will power I have to stop myself from ripping his clothes clean off. His entire family are downstairs and I'm not about to make my first time with him a public spectacle.
"Soon. I need to have you soon, Amelia." he growls, biting down on my waist, shocking me with just how sharp his teeth are.
"Soon!" I confirm, more than inclined to agree.
We both choose this moment to gather our rationality and wanting to make things as easy as possible for us, I sit up, no longer lying down on display for him.
"I like you a lot." I let slip, very much resembling that of a preschooler, much to my mortification.
"I'm pleased." he laughs, finding my outburst truly amusing, if nothing else.
I match his smile with full intensity and rest my head on his shoulder, spotting the cake as well as the money pot sat proudly beside it.
"We need to double our savings so far." I declare, nodding my head in its general direction.
Our idea to put a quarter in a jar each day's we go without kissing is still in full swing, monumentally building up towards when either one of us feels ready to date.
"Totally worth it." he adds, landing a light kiss to my hairline.
I look up to his smiling face and touch his cheek out of pure affection.
"I promised Anna I'd spend the night with her. We've got an evening of movies and junk food ahead of us." I explain, feeling him laugh, rather than seeing it.
"Sounds fun."
"You don't mind, do you?" I cautiously ask, hoping he doesn't take my leaving to heart.
He instantly pulls away from me, recoiling in disgust at my suggestion of him being even slightly offended by my early departure.
"Of course not. Don't ever feel like you need my permission to do anything." he ensures, taking a lock of hair from my left and positioning it to my right. "You should be with Anna tonight." he adds, pulling me in for one last hug, before we're both very rudely interrupted by reality.
"Aidan! Your aunt and uncle are leaving, come say bye!"
I laugh at his clear predicament, having still not come down from his 'excitement', shall we say and offer to do the honourable thing in this situation.
"How about I meet you down stairs and allow you some space." I laugh, finding his grimace truly hilarious.
"Good idea. Tell them I'll be down in two minutes." he suggests, repositioning his jeans.
I nod my head and go to leave, stopping only when Aidan pulls on my wrist, unprepared to let me exit just yet.
"By the way," he states, offering up that knock out smile of his, before continuing with his statement, suggestively so. "I like you a lot too."

Happy birthday, Aidan!
Friends? I think not... ;)
