Back at Step One (COMPLETED)

Sorry ngayon lang ulit nag update. Grabe, tagal matapos ng law exams namin lagingin namomove parang yung campaign proposals na final req naminHaay. Anyways, Nagustuhan po ng professor yung Proposal namin.

Sarap isampal sa mga tumawa sa nabunot kong topic e. Relate ba kayo? Yung tinatawanan nila yung nakuha ninyong topic? It feels so good na walang revisions yung amin tapos sa kanila meron. :P No offense to Dettechan. XD kilala mo tinutukoy ko.

Para po ito sa kanya na nagustuhan ko yung compilation niya na "Stories behind the songs". Inspiring.

I wasn't the one to obsess by looks.

Clothes were all the same for me, and I always wear my hair into a ponytail because it's always the most functional style for me, and not because it actually looks good. I really couldn't care less on in that department.

But I can't really help but stare sa nakita ko sa harapan ko.

"She's beautiful, isn't she?" sabi ni Nana sa likod ko.

Napalingon ako sa kanya sandali but I went back to staring at the girl. I think she's a girl, but seeing as she's much more mature looking than I am, I think she's to be called a lady.

Her hair, curled in wavy forms, reached up to her midback. Nakaheadband lang siya, the thin piece of plastic being the thing that kept her hair in place. Her legs seemed unnaturally long because of her three inch heels, habang her dress, which reached on her knees, seemed to just emphasize how her skin seemed to glow.

And it disturbed me was that when I leaned to the right, she did so too.

"Kahit anong gawin mo, susundan ka niyan. It's your reflection, apo." Sabi ni Nana, smiling. "You're facing yourself."

I scowled as the girl infront scowled too. "Sure po ba kayo?" tanong nila.

"Oo anak, sigurado ako." sabi ni Nana.

"What on earth did you put in me, Ninay?" tanong ko, though Ninay wasn't really in here to tell me.

Kanina pa kasi siya bumaba, and she was already dressed up and everything.

Tinignan ako ni Nana. "Wala pa namang make up ha?" sabi niya. "And no other jewelries except for the earrings and the bracelet of course."

Ninay never had me on make-up. When I asked for a necklace, she just smiled, then she just did my hair tapos saka naman niya ako inalisan, telling me I was done. I forgot that because of what I saw in the mirror.

"You shouldn't really be that surprised, dear." Sabi ni Nana. "You're pretty."

I blushed. "I don't really think that."

Nana smiles. "You should, darling." Sabi niya sa akin.

She offers a hand and I take it, and we both walk papalabas ng door. Nana in her green dress and scarf wrapped on her shoulders habang ako naman with the dress Ninay picked and then three inch heels, to which I never had

"You're my grand-daughter after all." She says.

*NINAY*

"Everything set?" tanong ni Tita Val sa akin while she strides in the living to room in her three inch heels. Tito Paul trailing behind her in his suit.
