After washing my face and ridding my mouth of the morning breath that had made itself at home. I waltzed back into Trey's room to see Key and Anixa ready to go to work.
"Did you wash your hair?"
Key asked comb in hand.
"Yes."
"Alright come sit down."
She pulled out the chair that sat at Trey's computer desk. Anixa walked in with a tub of water.
"You lucky I love you, I don't touch nobody's feet but my own. But it's your day, you need to be pampered."
"Thanks y'all so much."
I sighed sitting down.
"Mommy to be!"
Keyanna screeched pulling out a bottle of sparking apple cider.
"Seriously?"
"You can't drink champagne so this is the best we can do right now."
I smiled and took part in the toast offered to me from Keyanna and Anixa wishing both the baby and I good health and a great future. Sipping on my cider I enjoyed Keyanna working on my hair and Anixa doing my nails. I really did need to unwind. There was so much going on with getting ready for this baby shower I hadn't had time to relax. This was my time, much needed, and even more appreciated. I was laying on Trey's bed with a hot towel on my face when Marcus walked in.
"Getting the spa treatment I see."
He said walking over putting his hand on my stomach.
"Umm hmm."
I grunted from underneath the towel. He cooed to my stomach for a few minutes before heading back downstairs. I was dozing off when the cloth that was over my face was removed, I opened my eyes to see a smiling Trey.
"Don't fall back asleep."
He pulled my arms helping me sit up next to him. He was rubbing my stomach.
"Keyanna and Anixa are downstairs decorating and you're up here sleeping."
"This is my day though, I'm supposed to be lazy."
"Well it's going on 2 and you need to get dressed."
"I'm hot I want to get in the shower."
"Well c'mon we can take a shower together."
"Nuh uh Trey I'm not fooling with you today."
He started untying my robe.
"Let me wash you off."
I shook my head and against better judgment I followed Trey into the bathroom. An hour later Trey and I were dressed. Me in my peach maxi dress and Trey in khaki shorts and a white polo shirt. We were walking out of his room and landed in front of
