"Should be asking you the same thing , being up this late and all."
"Yeah I just put Kyleigh to bed and I'm trying to do homework but it's not working too well."
He laughed putting the bowl down.
"So where ya baby daddy at? Surprised he not standing over ya shoulder." laughed.
"He is at the studio, has been all night."
"Hows it going?"
"Good, real good. He's just about done."
"How are you?"
I smiled nervously.
"Okay."
"Uh huh. You miss me?"
"All the time."
"I miss you more."
"Aww."
"You know I'm off this weekend, I'm thinking maybe you, me, Kyleigh we go to the aquarium."
"Wow, that would be really cool. I've never been."
"So it's a date, Saturday, I'll meet you there."
"Definitely."
"Alright, go hit those books. I'm about to go to sleep, I just wanted to say whaddup."
"Okay, I'll text you."
He blew me a kiss before the screen went dark, and I started working on my student observation report. I was almost done when Trey walked in, it was almost 3 in the morning.
"What are you still doing up?"
He said kicking his shoes off.
"Working on this report and I am almost done. Just one more paragraph to proofread and I will be free for tomorrow. So we can do laundry and go shopping and relax."
"Yes."
He said bending over and kissing me. He walked into the kitchen grabbing the bottle of Grey Goose that was in the refrigerator. He poured a shot and swallowed it quickly. I closed my laptop completing my assignment before going and meeting him. I sat on the counter after grabbing some grapes out of the refrigerator.
"Everything okay?"
"You ever just feel stuck? Like you're doing all you can and it's not going anywhere."
I just listened.
"I'm putting my heart and soul into this demo and I'm still struggling, just, I just want to know when my break is."
"It's gonna come baby, you just have to stay focused and be patient."
"I know but I see Chris and he's doing shows and this and that, and I'm frustrated."
"Baby you are Trey and he is him and you cannot compare yourself to him. Your day will come. I know it."
"You don't know how good it is to hear that."
He took the bowl out of my hands wrapping his hands around my waist before hoisting me into the air.
"Its been a long day. Cuddle and sleep?"
"Umm hmm."
I agreed before Trey carried me to bed.
