Chapter Twenty Nine: End [1]

You felt used, cheated and plain out betrayed. But then again, those might be the things they felt after learning the truth about you. Tears stung your tears and you clogged your own throat, not letting air enter its normal passage way through your lungs. Guilt has taken over your system.

"I'm surprised you still want to save her after everything she had done." Krei added, chuckling, fueling your anger and shame even more so.

Hiro huffed, smiling sarcastically. "You threatened her into doing your dirty deeds! She's innocent! You forced her into doing something she didn't want to do and to add up for everything, you used my brother for your awful plans! You monster, can you stoop any lower?"

There was pain in this time, it was tangible. You wanted to reach out for him and comfort him. You could tell he was ready to burst and break down at the same time.

"And it was her fault for being cowardly and not standing up for herself. She easily succumb to my command. And I thought she had fire in her, I was greatly mistaken, sadly."

The insult hit you like a tidal wave, washing all pride you still had. Soon, tears prodded against the corners of your eyes. Realization soon came and you closed your eyes, letting those tears drip. "You're horrible," You hissed out venomously.

"Ah-Ah-Ah," He teasingly taunted, shaking his head along with his index finger. "Remember, you're under my mercy so unless you want to stay alive, I suggest you to keep you pretty little lips shut."

"Damn you!" Hiro couldn't take it anymore and darted towards Krei, about to swing his fists when Baymax tugged him by the back of his purple and red encrusted armor.

"Baymax, let me go!" Hiro shouted irritatingly, struggling to escape his companion's hold. The nurse bot did not obey but set Hiro beside him, still holding the back of his armor to prevent him from ever attempting to recklessly attack the offending character.

"My apologies, Hiro but I have recently scanned Krei and (Y/N) and I am here to inform you that he is currently holding a small device in his hand." The bot turned to you and pointed. "And somehow, the said device linked towards her."

Upon hearing Baymax's statement, your heart skipped a beat in horror.

Hit halted and turned to Baymax, frowning. "What do you suppose it means?"

"Nothing good, I assume." Gogo commented before stepping forward courageously. "Hand us (Y/N) and nobody has to get hurt. Well, at least not that much," She cracked her knuckles and craned her neck side to side, ready to take all matters in her own hands.

Krei smirked. "I admire your confidence but unfortunately for you, that isn't enough to make me willingly give you the girl and end everything I have worked for."

You attempted to stand up from the ground but a sudden stinging pain in your stomach made you fall back down and press a hand over it, gritting your teeth.

"Why are you doing this?" Honey Lemon asked, no longer able to stay in the dark. "You were such a nice man when I met you."

"And the best award for acting goes to," Fred made a drum roll by slamming his hands on the nearest wall over and over, collecting stares and attentions from the others, "Alastair Krei! Give him a hand folks!"

Wasabi face palmed, sighing in irritation. "Fred, was that really necessary? We're in a serious situation."

The said male shrugged, "I don't know, maybe. The tension was bumming me out so I had to do something to enlighten it."

"To answer your question," Krei reached out and took a small business card from his blazer, "This is the reason why I did all I had done." He let it slip from his fingertips and let it float in the air before landing gently on your lap.
