Chapter 7 "Departed"

"Where are you going Iris?" asked Mirai, who was trying her best to calm down.

"I want to see Michael." said Iris. You can see in her face that she was a different person right now. She was trying her best to know what is happening. When she opened the door, she saw lots of royal guards scattered in the area, some servants of Dashwood and Sumeragi, and their own servants. What caught her attention are the remnants of Michael's limousine. The moment she saw the car, her mind started to formulate the possible things that had happened; the reason why the guests in her party panicked; Mirai's cry and what she have said to her; and the reason why she felt some strange feeling.

"I wanted to see my brother." she said then ran towards their mansion gate, 30 meters far from the mansion entrance but she doesn't care about it. She wanted to see her brother at that moment. She didn't even think of what will be her reaction if she was about to see the world behind their mansion's walls.

"Iris...! IRIS!!" Mirai shouted to stop her. But Iris is still heading to the mansion's gate. Mirai think of something that will help Iris ease what she felt right now. When she got an idea, she asked one of her servants to get a car and bring them to the hospital where they brought Michael.

Mirai went in the limousine, "Please hurry to the gate and stop when you saw Iris, then head to the hospital where they brought Michael." she said, her hands were still trembling and the beat of heart is fast. "Michael, please don't leave me alone." she said. The car stopped and she let Iris ride on it.

"I'm scared Mirai. I want to see him" panted Iris, she was shaking because of fear, Mirai hugged her. And now they proceeded to the hospital. At that moment, she remembered what Michael told her, she was trying to remember their past conversation.

"Mirai, I hope the heaven will bless me a longer life to be with you. You're one of the precious treasures that I have. I don't care about my status as long as I'm with you I will be happy. If it is possible I want to renounce my status and leave a simple life with you." said Michael.
"Why are you saying such things Michael? I'm sure the heaven will bless you a longer life." she replied.

"If only I have the power to change someone I will gladly do it even if the payment for that is big enough to cause my life." said Michael

"Don't say something like that. I don't want to be alone Michael" she said.

"The door only opens at the right moment. When all riddles are solved and the key for change is in the hands of the right person whom the tainted have chosen." said Michael.

"You really love that novel Michael." she said as he hugged Michael.

"I'll entrust you one of my keys. And please, if Iris needs help don't hesitate to help her, she is a precious flower that I have. And she even love you so much" said Michael.

They already arrived at the hospital. They asked the hospital staff if they know where is the Eirlenhive patient room is and they were directed to the second floor emergency room. When the two of them reached the emergency room, they saw Rupert, Charles, Aoi, Reim and Kai waiting outside the room.

"Iris," said Charles when he saw his daughter.

"Mirai why did you bring her in here?" ask Aoi, who was nervous until now.

"Onii-sama, what happened to Michael?" said Miria, not answering Aoi's query.

"Mirai" Aoi couldn't utter the right words to answer Mirai. All they know is Michael is in critical state right now and they are waiting for the doctor to make his appearance and say something about Michael's current situation.
