Chapter 16- Scream Lily, scream

She scoffs "and I have a penis" I look at her weirdly and she waves me off. "You don't get it."

"Yeah, I don't and I don't think I wanna know."

She shrugs "I don't think you want to know either, don't worry" she winks and I shake my head.

"What do you like about having a mate?" I ask sighing.

The biggest smile flashes across her face and she sighs dreamily "honestly, it's the best thing in the world. Waking up to butterfly kisses everywhere, cute compliments, cooking together and having food fights, I love the play fights- they are the best. But what I really love is the way he looks at me" she smiles softly.

"How does he look at you?" I ask.

"Like I'm the only one for him, he doesn't look at other girls. He looks like I'm his first love and the only girl in his life, he makes me feel special " I smile.

"well that's great for you!" I say when I feel like hitting my head against a brick wall.

"Tell me about you and alpha" she says and sits down on the swing on the kids play ground.

I sit down on the one next to hers and move back and forth slightly, I sigh. It's not good at all.

"He looks at me like I'm a disappointment, the cold eyes and hard stares always make me feel self conscious. I just always feel like he's judging my every mood because it's him, he's not loving or caring he's a monster. He kissed me then left me believing that he only did that because another male was there, to make our 'relationship' seem real. He calls me weak, he's one the strongest alphas in the world- he simply can't have a weak mate. It puts 'pressure' on him" I sigh sadly.

"He's stupid if he doesn't accept you for who you are, Lily you are a gorgeous, kind, caring and loving woman. You don't need no man to make you feel worthy! He honestly doesn't deserve you, next time he says anything like you're weak or worthless just say I will shove my hand up your ass so hard that you won't be able to poo for the rest of your life. He obviously kissed you out of jealousy because look at you! You're like a freaking super model" she whistles and I blush.

"You are worthy enough, you are loved and you are strong. You survived what most people can't, but Lily- you did it!" She grins and I smile.

"You really are good at heartfelt speeches."

"I am pretty good" she nods to herself proudly.

Someone coughs and we awkwardly look away when we see Luca with his arms across his chest.

"Alpha knight! Good morning" she sheepishly grins.

"It's afternoon" he grumbles.

"Morning. Afternoon. Same thing!" She waves him off and I giggle, I haven't seen anyone do this to Luca.

It's funny actually

I smile and Luca looks at me, something flashes in his eyes but disappears as fast as it came.

"Who's this?" He asks.

"My name is Storm alpha Knight" his mouth opens in understanding.

"So you're storm."

"Indeed" she says smiling, when does this girl not smile?

"And your mates Tyler?" She blushes and nods shyly.

"Good afternoon alpha Knight" speak of the devil and he shall appear.

Tyler wraps a muscular arm around Storms waist and kissed her temple, I look away not wanting to get jealous.

Tyler reaches his hand out and Luca shakes it firmly and seriously, what the hell?

Luca stands next to me and pulls me to his chest, I place my hands on his torso and he swallows.

"I... Uh... I'm.... Sorry about last night" he sighs in relief and I stare blankly at him. He groans "I'm sorry about last night" I pat his chest sympathetically and stand on my tippy toes.

"You're not forgiven" I whisper in his ear then step back stomping my way inside like a child.

"Bye Storm and Tyler!" I wave.

"Bye!"

I stomp up to Lucas room and sit on the bed, Luca comes storming in with a furious face.

"How dare you? I said sorry and you didn't even forgive me! I rarely say sorry Lily, you should know that by now!" He shouts "and how could you embarrass me like that!?"

"It's because I can't forgive you Luca! You call me worthless, weak and last night that just snapped everything. Everything. Do you know how it feels to be called all those names by your own mate, no you don't!" I shout.

"I do know! You call me a monster, cold, cruel, ruthless, merciful, unloved. So stop being a hypocrite" he says and sits down on the chair in the corner.

I hadn't realised, I do call him that and I am being a hypocrite.

Now I'm going to be really brave and do this with much courage, even though it's really weird and he still hates me.

I stand up and walk over to where he's sitting, he looks up at me with emotionless eyes. I plop down on his lap and his eyes widen, I curl into him and I see him gripping the chair containing himself.

"What are you doing?" He asks.

"I'm sorry, I forgive you and I hope you can forgive me" I know we are just going to go back to fighting tomorrow.

"I forgive you" he whispers and looks at my lips.

His cold eyes return and he looks away pushing me off, I fall on my knees and look at him with wide eyes.

He walks to the bathroom tense and I whimper standing up, I was right.
