"Well I think you're fine now since your big ego is showing again." I said.

"Whatever. You need anything else? If not then can you let go of my t-shirt?" he asked a bit pissed.

"When are we working on our presentation again? I want to finish it before the end of this week. I already did more than half of the project." I said blankly.

"Oh gosh, what's with you and this f*cking presentation? Can you just f*ck off?" he said and walked away.

"No need to be an ass." I hissed and glared at him before I walked to my next class.

"Remember what I said, Elizabeth. Tell me about your decision when we meet again." Dr. Reyenes said.

"Yes, thank you." I said and exited the hospital.

I walked down the street thinking about what she said.

"Ha...2 more years..." I mumbled to myself.

Only the thought about having only 2 years left to live my life brought a shiver through my body. I wasn't ready to leave now. I still wanted to graduate and I only have one year to go. And I still have to find my childhood friend....this isn't getting better at all.

I was about to enter the gate to our house when I suddenly heard a familiar engine coming closer. I turned around and saw Blake riding his black motorcycle. He stopped in front of me and took off his helmet.

"What gives me the honour for you coming to my house?" I asked raising my brows.

He hopped off of his bike and leaned against while crossing his arms over his wide chest. He stared at me for a moment before he spoke up.

"Nothing. I only came so we can do that damn presentation." he said.

"Now you wanna do it all of a sudden?" I said and rolled my eyes.

"I only don't want you to follow me everywhere and ask about this. Just let us quickly finish it and we never see each other again." he said and took a step forward.

I rolled my eyes and sighed.

"Fine. Come in." I said.

I was too tired to argue with him so I just gave up. I opened the gate and my way to the front door. I took out my keys and opened the door.
Blake watched every move that I made.
I entered my house followed by Blake.

"I'm home!" I yelled.

"Welcome home, darling!" I heard my mom yell from the kitchen.

I turned to Blake who was looking around my house.

"Come on. They won't bite." I said and made our way to the kitchen.

My mother was cooking while humming some song.

"Mom, I brought a...friend with me." I said unsure if Blake and I were friends or not.

When my mom turned around her eyes widened and a huge smile formed on her face.

"Hello. Sorry for interrupting. I'm Beth's history partner. My name is Blake." Blake said politely and stuck out a hand for my mom to shake but she only pulled him to a hug.

"It's nice to meet you again! Please call me Sandra! Omg! This is the first time Beth brought a 'friend' at home." my mom said before she turned to me.

I looked at my confused before looking at Blake who also had the expression like me.

Then my father entered the kitchen.

Uhhh sh*t.

"Isabelle, why are you shouting?" my father asked and then his eyes landed on Blake who didn't had a smirk on his face anymore.

I tried not to laugh at his reaction when he saw my father.
Even when my father was in his 40s, he still looked pretty young and he was a really buff men. In short: he looked like someone who came out from the military.

"And who is this?" he asked serious and stood beside my mom.

"This is my partner in history, dad." I said.

"My name is Blake." he said politely while he had a terrified look on his face.

His face! Omg this is hilarious!

My father narrowed his eyes at Blake. Before anything else happened, I stepped in.

"Well, we will be in my room doing out project." I said.

"What? No. You will be stayi-" "Okay, I will call you when dinner is ready!" my mom interrupted my father.

I smiled at her and dragged Blake upstairs to my room. I closed my door and put my bag to the ground.

"Your father is really scary, you know." Blake said.

I raised my brows.

"The bad boy is afraid of my father?" I said and laughed.

"Look at him! He's like hulk! Only that he's not green." he said and I laughed harder.

"Ha. Ha. Really funny." he said blankly and sat down on my computer chair while looking around my room.

"Nice room. Not so girly as I thought." he said.

"What did you think my room would look like? Printed in all pink?"

"No, but I thought you would have some girly stuff like a really huge make up table or teddy bears on your bed which creeps every guy out or something like that."

"Did you just admit you're scared of teddy bears?" I asked and laughed.

"I'm not sacred of them. I only don't like them that much." he protested.

"Whatever helps you to sleep." I said and and we started with our project.

It took us about 3 hours until we finished most of the work.

"I can't anymore. My brain isn't working anymore." Blake said and layed down on my bed.

"Since when did your brain ever work?" I asked and buried my face into my hands.

"Don't piss me off, princess." he warned.

"Or what? What would Mr. Bad boy do?" I asked in a mocking tone.

"You will know soon enough." he said simply.

I just rolled my eyes and took out my phone when Blake suddenly sat up and took the photo which was on my nightstand staring at it.

"Why do you have this photo?"
