What he did next, was as shocking as it was pleasurable. Of course I didn’t expect it so I was pretty much taken by surprise. Now I know what you’re all thinking.

He kissed me, right?

Sorry to rain on your parade guys, cause no. No, that definitely did not happen. What he did do was this.

He leaned down and scooped me up in his arms, and spun my around, while crushing my body to him. I was definitely shocked for a moment as he laughed and spun me around. But when I got over it – after just a second – I wrapped my arms around his neck really tightly; clinging to him like a little monkey as we were both laughing.

I threw my head back as I laughed but clung to Jayden. He finally put us down, but I was still clinging to his neck, which caused his back to be bent and so his forehead was leaning on mine as we both panted, still chuckling and giggling. And that’s exactly the position that doofus found us in.

“Woah, what happened here?” he asked. I actually heard his voice before I saw his face. And it didn’t sound angry; just amused and a little annoyed I think. Damn it, must he ruin my every single moment? My back was to him, so Jayden’s beautiful eyes left mine to connect with the devils. I knew my perfect moment was over so I reluctantly removed my arms from around his neck.

I turned around to meet Cole, and trust me when I say I wasn’t happy! I met him with a deep scowl and a cross of my arms over my chest. He looked taken back a bit but still amused.

“Oh, so what he gets lovey-dovey eyes and a big smile and I get scowls?” he asks, crossing his own arms across his chest. I knew it was just playful. I stuck out my tongue at him.

“He’s my husband after all; you on the other hand are a pain in my ass.” I shrugged, like that solved everything.

“Right, that reminds me, I wanted to talk to you about that Jalden right?” Cole questioned as I openly ran a frustrated hand through my hair.

“Ignore him, please” I told Jayden, glaring at Cole. “It’s Jayden, Cole! I already told you that yesterday” I hissed at him.

“Oops my bad,” He waved it off. “Anyway Jayden, I wanna talk to you too about this whole marriage thing so can we go somewhere?” he asked, looking at me.

“Hmm, how about that café we used to go to all the time, remember? The one with the whole 80’s theme?” I suggested, looking between both of them.

“You don’t remember the name?” Cole gasped, putting a hand to his heart. I rolled my eyes at his theatrics.

“I’m riding with Jayden” I told him. It wasn’t a question, it was a statement.

“That mean’s I get to drive your car? Woohoo!” he cheered. I groaned. He was a more reckless driver than Kat; she learnt from the best – or in this case worst – after all.

“Why me?” I muttered to the sky. Jayden chuckled.

“You can go with him you know, I don’t mind” I know you don’t, but I do. I cannot stand another minute with that idiot. He needs his friends, so that I can get back to mine!

“Cole, you need to call your friends” I stated firmly, stopping him from doing a wild jumping around dance.

“What? Why?” he whined.

“Cause I’m not waking up every morning to do this with you. And neither is Jayden” I added sternly when he was about to protest. What was this? Rent my sister’s best friends husband? “And face it, what are you gonna do when we’re at school?”
