I didn't want to dress super slutty tonight since I don't know anyone at this thing. This is my first party, I wasn't really the party type in high school, I made sure my life was only school, home, and work. I feel as if since I've lived her with the Demarco's I've lived more of a teenage life than I ever did before. "Sissy, where are you going?" Keegan ran in with his little teddy bear I got him for his first Christmas. "I'm going out with uncle Declan, okay?" He gave me a small sigh "but I don't really want you to go sissy" I picked him up and held him close "I'll be home shortly, okay?" I started rocking him and gave him a kiss on his head. "Hey, Lia you ready? Oh, I'm sorry" Declan walked in with his eyes glued on his phone. "Uncle Declan!" Keegan yelled "hey buddy" Keegan jumped down and ran to give him a hug.
*Declan'sPOV*
Keegan went back downstairs I'm guessing because it got quiet. "Lia, you look amazing" she blushed "you're being nice Declan" I shook my head "no, I'm not. You're beautiful" she thanked me. "You ready?" I asked. "Yes! Let's go have some fun" I grabbed her hand and lead her to my car "you haven't been to party before, huh?" I asked. She honestly told me no and i started laughing really hard, I tried to speak but no words came out. She hit my chest to get me to stop. "I didn't have time to, Declan!" She said. I continued to laughbthe rest of the 5 minute car ride.
*Lia'sPOV* "Just stay by my side and don't drink, okay?" He said sternly. "Here's a drink for the beautiful lady" some guy offered. I debated if I should have fun or listen to daddy Declan over here. "Fuck it" I whispered to myself. I took the cup of the unknown drink and chugged it. Declan gave me a angry look. He let go of my waist. I was about to apologize until a girl and boy with blondish brown came over to us. "Hi! I'm Sofia" the girl gave me a ear to ear smile "hi I'm Lia." I looked over to Declan talking to the boy. Declan noticed that I was uneasy about this whole party situation so he came closer to me. "Declan, you don't have to stay with me, you can go with your friends. I'll be okay" I implied. He gave me a look and said "this is Justin and Sofia. I've known them since I moved here." Justin winked at me "hey, beautiful. How are you?" Declan punched Justin in the chest "back off, Reed." Justin put his hands up in surrender. Sofia pulled me out of Declan's hold. "So Lia, you're new here?" We walked outside to talk "yes, I am. I've only been here for 5 months." She covered her mouth with shock "seriously? Oh my god! I'm your new best friend, okay? Okay" she hugged me "okay!" She's so sweet. I'm really enjoying her company. "Okay, so I have been dying to ask you. Are you and Declan a thing?" She said trying to confirm her thoughts. I almost chocked on my drink "hell no! I just love with him and his mom with my little brother" she again covered her mouth "so let me get this straight, you live under the roof of the hottest guy of Manhattan and you're not fucking? Who even are you Lia!" She said a bit too loudly. I bursted out laughing when a group of guys gave Her a dirty look "You wanna head back in?" She stands up and takes my hand "yep! Let's go have fun with the guys." She says in embarrassment.
"You wanna go home?" I heard Declan's voice in my ear. I turn around to see him with our coat. I say goodbyes to Justin and Sofia. "Text me bitch!" Sofia yelled. I looked at Declan "she's great" he took my arm and said "ya, she's had a major crush on me since I've lived her and if I didn't meet Justin I probably would've fucked her but he's my best friend and now she's too much of a little sister." I just answered with oh. I was getting so sleepy, I didn't want to wait till we got home. "Babe wake up" Declan says. "Ew don't call me that. I enjoyed your company until you called me that." He laughed at my comment and continued to drive back home.
I went straight to my room and Declan followed. "Wanna watch movies babe?" I rolled my eyes at him "only if you stop calling me that." He lifted his hands up "but I have chips and cookies" my face lit up like Keegan would if he got a new Lego set. After 30 minutes into the movie my eye lids started to get heavy. I somehow ended on top of Declan. He was already asleep. My door opened and I saw a tired Keegan walk in with his teddy. "Can I sleep with you guys sissy?" Declan woke up and looked at me and Keegan "of course you can sleep with us buddy, come on." Declan said grabbing Keegan and put him in the middle of us. Declan grabbed the remote off the end table and turned off the tv. They both fell asleep while I thought how nice this is to finally have a family again.
