"That's a lie you've always been a bitch. You were probably born a bitch too" Gally snapped. All the lost boys and some of the gladers glared at him " what? You know it's true"
" umm Gally?" Thomas called out. Gally turned to him "judging by the coconut throwing, beating both Peter and Felix and threatening you with a knife. I think you should quit it with the insults"
"That's not all she's done" twin one replied smirking.
"Don't worry boys he will soon learn his place. Anyway I've finished my breakfast. Newt lets talk" I replied walking off with newt trailing behind me.

"Okay newt talk" I said sitting on the sofa in the living room. Newt sat on the sofa opposite of me.
"Okay well i think I owe you an explanation for why I spread those rumours about you. Do you remember that night when Thomas came up and we had that massive bonfire?" Newt asked looking up at me.
"Kinda I got really drunk and forgot everything the next morning" I replied
"Well most of the gladers were drunk but Alby told me I couldn't get drunk because I had to make sure no one did anything stupid. So I walked around for a while and caught sight of you laying on the floor under a tree. I ran over to you and helped you up. As soon as you got up you wrapped your hands around me and kissed me" He took a deep breath and so did I. What? You'd be the same if you drunkly kissed your crush!
"Well after we kissed you whispered in my ear 'I love you newt'. I kinda blamed it on the alcohol in your system so I took you to your room. The next morning I saw you sitting on Bens lap with your head in his neck. I just felt this anger come over me that I just jumped to conclusions and I started the rumours. I'm sorry rose" he said looking at the floor.
"You practically sent me to my death!" I snapped
"I never intended to do that or any other thing that happened to you. You don't understand after you were banished I wouldn't leave my room for two months not even when Alby tried forcing me. I was living in guilt and regret"
"So only after I supposably died then you felt guilty"

"After all the bullying and name calling"

" after turning everyone against me and all agreed to banish me after I finally fight back!" I screamed while standing up.
"NO ALRIGHT! I FELT GUILTY EVER SINCE I STARTED TORMENTING YOU! AND DO YOU WANT TO KNOW WHY?" He shouted standing up
"Why!" I shouted back
"BECAUSE I WAS JEALOUS!"
"And why were you jealous?!" I ask stepping closer to him
"BECAUSE I LOVE YOU!" He said breathing heavily. I took a deep breath.
"You- you love me?" I asked tilting my head to the side.

"Ever since I laid eyes on you" he said stepping closer to me. He lifted my chin up and leaned in closer. I was doing the same. Wait what am I doing.
"No" I said shaking my head
"W-what?"
"I said no!" I shouted pushing him away from me. He looked stunned. "What I said when I was drunk was true but not anymore! You were once very sweet to me but then you turned into a monster! And I can't love a monster!"
"Fine. You may not love me now but I will make you love me again that I will promise" he said in anger.
"But thing is I'm in love with someone" I said walking closer to him and brushing my lips against his ear " and it's not you" I whispered
I pulled back and smirked at his bewildered face "see you at the training camp" I said and walked off.
He may think deep down I'm still the innocent girl in the glade, well think again shank.
