CHAPTER 37 - INTIMACY

We watched 'Train to Busan', a Korean zombie apocalypse movie. Only one word to describe it, AWESOME. Then we watched 'The Witch', a horror movie. If you want to get some nice scare, then I recommend you to watch it.

It was night and Zach requested me to stay the night. I denied at first but then Mr and Mrs William requested me so nicely that I couldn't say no to them.

I was having dinner with them. It was awkward at first between Zach and his dad but then Mrs William started with some conversation and the tension eased out. Mr William and Zach also started making a little conversation.

"Natasha, what are your plans after completing your education? I mean, will you go back to India or settle down over here?" Mr William asked taking a sip of his wine. I saw Zach visibly tensing up.

"Uh I haven't planned anything yet. I have still three years to complete my education. After that, I will possible look for a job over here." I replied.

"I see. Well, you can always try in our company. I am sure we'll have a perfect place for a bright student like you. You should give it a go after you graduate. You can try it now as well." He explained.

"That's really nice of you Mr William. I will definitely try it after I graduate as I just want to concentrate on my studies for now." I replied in a thankful voice. From the corner of my eyes, I saw Zach sighing, a small hopeful smile on his face.

After eating dinner, I and Zach went to his room.

"So what should we do now?" I asked.

"Late night swimming?" He suggested.

"Are you crazy? It's very cold and a tropical girl like me, can't bear it. Also, I can't swim." I scoffed.

"We have a big jacuzzi in the basement so it won't be cold." He replied.

"Fine." I sighed. Seriously man, who enters a jacuzzi in so much cold. I have to give myself a pep talk even before I go for a bath in cold.

"Umm Zach?"

"Yeah?"

"I don't have any clothes."

"Megan might have something."

"Umm...I mean...uh...I don't have...uh..."

"A bikini?" He asked shamelessly.

"Yeah." I said and he smirked.

"I mean, I am not entering the jacuzzi with only a bikini. I'll ask Megan for some shorts and a top or something." I said.

"You know right, that girl's enter a swimming pool or a jacuzzi with only a bikini?" He asked.

"I know that. But I have never been in only a bikini in my life, in front of anyone." I said and he looked shocked.

"Never?" He asked in disbelief.

"Never." I confirmed.

"That's great." He said with a 100 watts smile on his face.

"Huh?"

"No one has seen you like that. And no one will, except me, in the future." He replied with...pride? I blushed. I can't even think of him seeing me naked. I won't say I have a bad body because I know I don't.  The only thing that bothers me, is the self harmed scars on my body. It's like an art on a stone which will never fade away.

"So I'll bring the clothes." I stated and went to Megan's room to collect some clothes.

I knocked thrice at her door but she didn't open. The forth time I knocked but I didn't realise that she already opened the door so I ended up knocking at her face.
