Chapter fourteen "the village"

Kye's p.o.v
We finally arrived at the village James had crashed still not knowing how to fly "I is good" James said rubbing his head "you sure 'bout that?" I asked he nodded his head "see just as we told you corrupted" sam said shaking his head sadly "well then we need avoid this at the time being" tinker said "what?" We asked "none of you are prepared for any of this!" Tinker said "LOOK OUT!!" Snow shouted as a heard of zombies ran towards us and separated us me,Tom,Alex and James were running one way while the rest split up again we kept running until we reached a sky scraper and rushed inside and clambered all the way to the top we stopped and caught our breath "do you think their gone?" Alex asked "I think so" Tom said I got some furniture and put it in front of the entrances "and if their not then they're not getting in" I said proudly I looked around "this place must have been a busy village/ city thing" I looked towards James and saw him shivering? And as a bat the same size as he was before it was really easy to notice especially with all his fur I walked up to him "hey dude you ok? Need a regen poition or something?" I asked "I-I is fine....." he sniffed I gave him one anyway to see if that would help I walked away from James and found Tom looking out one of the windows I walked over to him "uh tom?" I asked "yea?" "I think something is wrong with James" "why s'that?" "Because he's shivering" "with all his fur?" "That's what I was thinking but still" "you need more evidence than that!" "Dude have you heard him speak I talked to him just now and he said 'I-I is fine...' that's not proper grammar and he still sounds nasily!" "Dude he's a bat who was beat up by an owl girl and thrown into a zombie what do you expect? I think we're done here" Tom said ending the conversation I huffed and walked off I saw Alex looking at some papers and computers "hey!" I said he jumped and turned around "don't do that, that scared me!" He said "jeez sorry!" I said "what you looking at?" "Oh uh just some CCTV footage before the incident" Alex said looking through the computer again "question how were you not affected again?" I asked sitting on one of the spinny office chairs "well all of us were actually asleep in sams basement after a party" Alex explained "and when we woke up everything was way to quite" I nodded "sorry to hear that....." I said "it's fine I'm just wondering what's going on with your friends?" Alex asked

Sky's p.o.v
We had ran and ran when I saw Kiki getting attacked by zombies "oh no you don't!" I shouted dive rolling and grabbing Kiki and air jumping to a near by roof and air jumping roofs while I held Kiki in my arms I slipped on a flat roof tile and landed on my back "owww" I groaned "mister sky are you ok?!" Kiki asked "yea I'm fine I'm more worried about you!" I said sitting up and letting go of her she sat on my lap Kiki looked over the edge "mister Sky look!" Kiki said pointing over the edge I heard splashes and groans and a whimper I looked over and saw summer fighting off zombies with a puddle! She keeps summoning her trident and it keeps getting smaller I huffed and waved my hands and made a tornado and lifted Summer up quite quickly she was now 50 feet in the air "that's too high!" Kiki said 'I know that!' I thought I stopped the tornado and her wolf ears and tails sticking up in fear as she fell I pushed the zombies back with my wind before grabbing Summer in a tornado again and landing her next to me and Kiki she landed and sprawled out on the floor shaking in fear "w-w-what t-t-the h-h-hell?!" She stuttered trying to fix her hair and trying to stand up I breathed heavily "he saved you!" Kiki said Summer took a deep breath and acted like nothing happened "right well let's get inside this building" Summer said opening a hatch on the roof of the building I struggled to stand using to much energy at once 'I guess tinker was right?' I wondered I fell through and landed on my face again hurting my face AGAIN and I still don't have my glasses on un cool! I didn't want to move "um you ok?" Summer asked "not really" I said into the floor 'how?" I asked Summer 'how what?" She asked "how'd you do that summon your weapon so many times? And not get exhausted?" "Oh uh well I wasn't really paying attention I guess I just focused on surviving" she said I lifted my head up "just let me lay here for a bit ok?" I asked "righto better get to boarding up the place" she said walking off Kiki sat next to me and pet me on the head

Tinker's p.o.v
We had all split up I flew over head grabbing Sam and Teep in my talons and flying to one of the buildings near by I knew SnowDrop was behind me holding onto Sly and Emily a bombardment of arrows shot towards SnowDrop she dodged them and flew off in a different direction I dropped sam and Teep and landed "what the actual fuck?!" Sam shouted I covered her mouth with my wing as I changed back almost collapsing back Teep held me up "we got to get inside" I said shoving Teep away and walking towards a rooftop entrance Sam and Teep followed behind I looked around and saw we were in a store Teep rushed around boarding up windows, doors and the roof entrance Sam looked for edible food I sat on the counter thinking of the groups 'Thomas,Kye, Alex and James magics normal and dark' I thought, I thought of the second group 'Summer,Sky and the child Kiki Water,Air and....and.....' I huffed at the last part of the thought I couldn't place my finger on it 'me, Teep and Sam Electricity, Earth and Normal' that was the third group and then the fourth 'SnowDrop, Sly and Emily Ice,Fire and Nature' I stopped my thoughts 'magic,dark/death,water,air,ice,fire,nature but then who are we missing?' I thought "hey look they have the life game kinda stuffed up though..." sam said holding up the board game "life....life....life? LIFE HOLY SHIT" I shouted "what he actually figured out he has one?" Sam mumbled to Teep, Teep just looked like he chuckled "no you idiots!" I shouted "what? So you don't have a life?" Sam asked "no no no Life or Light she didn't split up with anyone! She's alone!!" I shouted "uh-oh" they said
