"Are you alright? If you are hurt we could get you patched up."

His words seemed to make the boy, Derek, blink in suprise. Just as he seemed to be thinking about his request. Daimen noticed something move in the boys arms. It looked at him through curious eyes. It was another human, a female too, this one seemed much you ger though.

"Aequitas."

"Yes?"

Daimen's voice was steady but there was obviously something on his mind.

"Didn't you say that there were two beings that entered the perimeter before? Excluding the wolf as it entered most likely after we arrived. That would mean it was these two children here you sensed, correct?" He asked, pointing towards the two eldest children across the grass.

"That is correct. Is something wrong with that analysis?"

Daimen pointed at the child within the boys arms.

"Did you happen to notice the presence of what he was carrying, or did it slip past?"

Aequitas finally seemed to notice the tiny figure within the boys arms. He seemed quite suprised.

"I didn't sense it milord. Even now I cannot pick it up on the surveillance network."

"... I see then."

This was an odd predicament, whatever that child was, she obviously had enough power to evade the guild base security system. That could only happen if one possessed high ranking spells of masking ones presence, or has high ranking thief skills.

He had to be ever cautious in this world. These were the only living creatures he was able to meet so far in this world. He had to know how powerful they were. The max limit in Kings Game was level 100, but what if this worlds limit was level 10000? The next question was, could he continue to level up? If this world had no limits, dies that mean he could level up beyond the limit cap?

Lost in his thoughts, he relised that his cold stare had made the boy grasp the small girl tighter into his arms. Fear was eminent in his eyes.

Daimen sighed internally, this was a struggle no one wanted to deal with.

He tried putting his smile back on, hopefully he was radiating an aura of kindness.

"There is no need to be afraid. I was simply shocked that you were carrying someone. Please forgive me for my rudeness. Can I please ask, does she contain any high level masking spells or skills?"

"Um, I don't believe so. Is that bad?"

The boys words were a mix of unease and fear. Daimen again tried to put on a friendly atmosphere. They are the only intelligent life they have encountered since coming to this new world. He could not afford to mess this up.

"No, it's not bad. I was just curious."

He then noticed the way the girl behind him was rubbing her ankle, with a pained expression.

"If you want we could help patch your friend up."

The boy seemed even more nervous now.

"N-no, thats fine, we don't need to bother anymore than-"

"Nonsense. Aequitas."

"Yes my lord!"

The towering golem walked across towards the young girl and he outstretched his hand, as if ready to grab her. The girls face was filled with fear as she tried to back away, which was hard to do while sitting down.

Aequitas looked back at him. Seeming unsure of what to make of the situation.

Daimen continued his smile, his face was starting to ache, and said with a gentle tone.
