“I think you should know that Drew was the one that brought her home,” Nick interjected.

“Nothing happened,” Drew defended.

“You better hope so,” Michael threatened.

“Nothing happened, Michael, I woke up with all of my clothes on,” I said from the bed. I watched as all eyes turned to me.

Michael looked between me and Drew, “Fine, I’ll take your word for it.”

“Thank you," I whispered.

“What’s all the noise about?” It was a girls voice. The voice was coming from Nick’s bed.

“Nothing, Trisha,” Nick said.

“Who’s she?” Trisha asked.

“A friend of Michael’s.”

“A friend?”

“Yes, Trisha, a friend.”

“I thought he was giving up fuck buddies?” What! My cheeks turned bright red.

“Trisha, she is not a fuck buddy.”

“She’s not?”

“No.”

“But.”

“No, now go back to bed.”

I assume she went back to bed because she didn’t talk anymore, that or she was just eavesdropping. I have to say that was kind of embarrassing. I didn’t even know Michael had fuck buddies.

“Sorry about that, Bree,” Michael said.

“It’s okay, I think that maybe you should just bring me ho–” Home, a place that is nonexistent to me at the moment.

“I can bring you home. What’s wrong?”

“I was kicked out last night,” I muttered. “Yeah, just bring me home.”

“Okay, let me get dressed.”

“I’m going back to sleep,” Drew said before leaving.

I got out of bed and walked to the door. Nick stopped me from going past him. He looked troubled, I hope this isn’t about last night. I really don’t want to talk about that. It was a mistake, it was the alcohol.

“Listen I’m sorry about last night. It never meant to happen. It must’ve been the atmosphere and the alcohol. I’m also sorry about just leaving you like that, and for leaving you for Drew to come and find you.”

“It’s fine.”

“No, it’s not.”

“Nick, if we both just forget about it then it will be fine.”

“Are you sure?”

“Yeah, I’m sure.”

“Cool, see you later.” Nick got back in bed with Trisha. I gave a sigh before walking towards the door again.

I slumped against the wood door and slid to the floor. I waited for Michael to get out of the bathroom. I could hear him moving and swearing in the bathroom. I hope he’s okay.

The bathroom door opened and Michael stepped out. He still had bed head and his pants weren’t even on all the way. Today’s going to be rough, I can already tell. First Michael and I are both messes, and then I have to go back to my loving mother.

“Michael, you might want to finish putting on your pants,” I suggested. He yawned and then pulled his pants up. I laughed at him and then got up.
