"You're the only person in the world that still calls me Kimmy. No one but you has called me that since Middle School!" I say, hoping that the subject change will get him to forget about his pissed off mood.
"Cause Kimmy is a cute name. It's my nickname for you," he stated firmly.
Grinning, I cross my arms, I looked out the window watching cars, trees, and the seldom houses fly by me. I felt like we were in the middle of nowhere. "Where are you taking me?" I blurted out.
"Somewhere," he stated obviously. "My turn. Did I hear this correctly last night or was I in a delusion: You kissed Spencer last night?" I stayed silent for a moment smiling to myself; thinking about it again. Ah the kiss, so perfect! I can't wait to see him on Monday now. Maybe I can see him earlier... "Kimberly, are you listening to me!?" Asher shouted.
"Yes, Asher!" I shouted back with a smile still on my face, "Sorry, had a moment there."
"So? Yes or no!" He asks again, still looking a little pissed off from earlier.
"YES! Yes, yes!" I say loudly, trying not to let a bigger smile creep on my face.I took a deep breath looking out the window. Peaking from the corner of my eye, I saw Asher's body tense and his grasp on the steering wheel tighten. "He kissed me, and I kissed him back. Is that a problem?"
"No comment," he grumbled darkly.
I smiled to myself, thinking about the kiss again and how sweet and flawless it was. I smiled. Thinking about it, I could still feel the kiss like it was happening. His warm soft, lingering lips over mine; nothing could top that moment, "A perfect kiss," I whisper, mainly to myself but the car was so quiet that even Asher heard me.
"Yeah. Sure. Perfect," he says sounding sarcastic. "I could do way better." I thought I heard him mutter to himself. I'm sure he could with all his practice.
"So are we there yet?" I ask with a long sigh.
"Yep," he chimed, stopping the car. Wow I must be psychic or something.
Getting out of the car, I stood on an unstable surface that was rough and rickety. What the hell..."Where the heck are we?" I asked pathetically, as I held the car door for some support.
The whole ground was covered with rocks, ledges and boulders. And the sound of crashing water was nearby with a harsh breeze weaving by. Grabbing my sweater from the car, I pulled in on and slam the door, walking over to Asher.
"It's a cliff," he finally states, closing his car door.
"What, you brought me here to push me down the cliff or do something stupid?" I tease wobbling up to him on the unsteady surface.
"Don't tempt me," he laughs, stuffing his hands in his pocket to keep warm.
"I can't believe you'd get rid of little ole me." I gasp, walking up to where he stood. He chuckles along, and I hold his arm so I'd have better balance, "So what are we really doing here?"
