Chapter 36

Sadly, Blake wasn't able to take his but it seems like he was good enough in every class to graduate too. His mother went to school to get his things.

On the same day, Chase asked Victoria out and now they have been together for 1 and a half month. Chase always liked Victoria but then she turned to a bitch. Victoria liked Chase since a really long time but didn't wanted to admit it. They started as friends and now they are going out.

Sometimes when I look at them, I start to envy them and of course I will be sad because I can't be like them with the person I like.

After the graduation day, my condition worsened extremely. I wasn't able to get out of the bed for days because I just didn't had enough energy to move my body. I felt numb all over. I get a 'heart-attack' once a week or when I'm lucky then only every two weeks. That's one of the reasons why I'm this weak.

Dr. Reyenes explained me the consequences for getting it. The last time she told me that was when I got another attack.

I could get a surgery but I refused. They finally found a person for me but when I heard who it was, I immediately refused. I can't do that. I talked about it with my parents and they were neither angry nor against it. They understood me and told me that it was my choice and I was thankful for their respect towards me. Of course they cried but they understood why I couldn't take the surgery.

My doctor explained me the consequences which I accepted without hesitation.

I am going to die but not painfully. I might die in my sleep. My heart will just stop beating like that and I won't have to suffer.

I know it's kinda sound sad but I am prepared for it to happen but of course, I'm always scared when I go to sleep.

What worry me the most was the fact that I might not be able to see Blake awake again. I really hope I will though. I want to say goodbye. I want to tell him many things.

Time passed really fast. These guys in front of me finished highschool and plan on going to different colleges. Alice will attend college in Virginia and Rose will be attending a medical college in Alabama. Both Drake and Zack were accepted in a sports college in California. Victoria will be staying here in Florida with Chase and they both will be attending the same college.

Alice always wanted to be a photographer while Rose wants to be a nurse. Both Drake and Zack want to be pro football player while Victoria wants to be a business woman and Chase isn't sure yet.

Everyone will be going their own routes which I'm really proud about. I always wanted to be a doctor and I haven't gave up on that dream yet.

I'm a little bit sad because we have to split but we promised each other to meet up sometimes.

They all have to leave early before college starts because they need to sign for God knows for what. They tried to explain the system and everything but I only dreamed of a laying in the beach. Honestly, I didn't get a thing.

I was pulled out of my thoughts when a pillow crashed against my face. I then realised that they started a pillow war in my room in an HOSPITAL.

"What the freaking hell, Chase! Do you want us all to die?!" Victoria asked him.

"Uh damn she is gonna kill us..." I heard Drake mutter.

I was beyond annoyed as I glared at them.

"Where the fuck did you guys got those pillows?!" I asked and throw the pillow at Chase who didn't pay attention and it landed on his face.

"Run!" Alice suddenly said as she made a run to the door.

However, before she opened the door, someone else opened it revealing Dr. Reyenes at the door with a dark look.

Okay, now we are going to die.

Alice took a few steps away from the door back to the others.

"This is a hospital and not a playground! Don't act like kids and behave! Elizabeth needs rest and not six wild children! So please keep it down and clean up." she said and closed the door.

The door closed everyone let out a sigh of relief.

"Damn, I really though I'm going to die right there." Zack let out.

"I wasn't scolded." I said with a smirk.

They playfully glared at me and throw pillows at me and laughed.

Well I will miss this. Very very much.

They started to clean their mess and after that they had to go home because the visiting time was already finish.

I started to make my way to the bathroom and took a quick shower and changed from my old pajama to a new one. I dried my hair before I went back to my bed. Only my bathroom routine was already tiring for me.

I laid there staring out of the window when I saw the sun going down. The sky was a pretty ombre from orange to yellow. It was now so quiet in my room.

After spending time staring out I started to feel tired and was about to fall asleep when suddenly my door opened. Mrs. Anderson stood at the door with teary eyes. She was out of breath as she started at me.
I started to panic a bit waiting for her to tell me if something happened to Blake.

But the next thing I heard was unexpected and I suddenly started to hold by breath.
