Sybil's head hurt so badly she considered ripping it off so she didn't have to deal with it. She knew she needed to sleep and to hunt. She might even need a human to re-sustain her. The constant throb made it difficult to think and detect when someone was near. She didn't even hear Demetri come sit next to her.
A gentle hand was placed on the girl's forearm, which drew her attention to the man.
Demetri was surprised to see that Sybil's eyes were black. Even when he found her, that still held the deepest color of purple, like the color of a deep cut amethyst. But now they were as pitched as coal, the bruises under her eyes seemed to have stolen the violet color from her irises. Her pallor could be considered sickly and the whites of her eyes were beginning to look grey. The tracker could see the shine of venom that stuck to the back of her shirt, probably from the remaining cuts.
"Your cuts are gone." Demetri stated. Sybil nodded, not really paying attention. "Your venom is grey too, isn't it?" Another quiet nod. Demetri sighed in frustration, the air hissing from behind his teeth. "Alright, listen to me." He demanded. The tracker would have continued to talk with or without the girl's permission. "Chelsea does not represent the whole of the Volturi. She was not given orders to do that to you, we were not aware of her intentions, and we certainly did not want you to join that way."
"But you want me to join?" She accused.
"Of course. You have a valuable gift, and you distract the twins enough to make them leave the rest of us alone. And you're quiet and keep to yourself. That's a plus." He explained. She still looked unconvinced. "Alright. I will be honest with you." Now he had Sybil's attention. "The twins hate people. They hate nomads, other covens, hell, they hate half of our coven, and the rest they tolerate. The only people they like are each other, Aro, and you."
Sybil looked at him suspiciously. Demetri's dark grey cloak made it hard to focus on his body, his pale face and his words were the only things she could pay attention to.
"I have never met anyone that the twins had taking a liking to so easily and quickly. It might have something to do with the fact you're around their age or because they see you as something to protect because of your naivety," Sybil threw a weak glare at the statement. "But they like you, and believe me when I say they were beyond devastated when you left."
Sybil could really imagine Alec and Jane devastated, she couldn't really see them with any other facial expression beside the passive stone face and the cocky, smirking expression. She had never seen them angry or sad.
"Aro, of course, wants you back. He wants to understand you, and help you. The twins miss your company. I think even Marcus misses your presence. I miss you there."
Sybil digested his words. So, Alec and Jane didn't fake they're strand brand of kindness, Chelsea was working alone, Aro was still super creepy, but he was the only one who shared an interest in where she came from and what's wrong with her.
The burn in her throat and the acidic feel in her stomach reminded her of her hunger. With sullen eyes, she looked back at the red eyes of Demetri. "I'm hungry. And tired."
Demetri smiled at the girl's surrender. "We can hunt before we leave. And I'll find a place for you to rest."
Sybil smiled as Demetri helped her to her feet.

Sybil had warned Demetri she was a messy eater, and she was not kidding. Of the man she devoured in some alley way in Munich, half of what was supposed to down her throat went down her chin and shirt. The second man she ate wasn't a much cleaner kill.
