"I guess i'll go this once. It'll be right after I submit my application. It'll be good for me to try to relax." I said. I think that after that application is sent, i'll be able to start living a normal high school life. Heck, I might even get my first kiss! I need to start being normal.
It's only a few months away before graduation and then my life will be all about law school. I need this break. I can't believe i'm actually saying that I need to stop studying and go to a party. What has this world come to?
"Oh my god. Krissy Reagan is going to Blake Tyler's party. Damn. The whole school needs to know." She said into the phone. I rolled my eyes. She's so dramatic.
"It is not a big deal. Besides, I'm probably going to be in the corner just watching." I sighed. I didn't want to drink or smoke, and I didn't want to dance with some horny guy. Why was I going to this party again?
"Oh come on Krissy. Just one drink and one dance." She pleaded. I contemplated her choices for me. I mean one drink couldn't hurt, right?
-
"I love you!" I slurred. Morgan was holding onto my side as I struggled to stand. I hiccuped before bursting into a fit of giggles. I'm funny. No, I'm hilarious.
"Who knew you were such a lightweight Kris." Morgan chuckled. I smiled a grin. I didn't know that's for sure. It's the first time i'm drunk and i'm loving it!
"I want more beer." I giggled.
"Oh no you don't." Morgan said. I pouted, hoping to crack her.
"Krissy. We should leave. I don't want to lose you again." Morgan said.
"One more dance." I begged her. Morgan shook her head. I pouted again.
"Home. You need some food and water in you. I can already feel your hangover start to form." Morgan said. I sighed. I let her drag me out of the party and into her silver Mercedes. She pushed me into the passenger's seat were I relaxed amongst the cold seat.
"Food." I moaned. My stomach twisted. I felt hungry all of a sudden.
"On my way." Morgan said. I heard the car roar as she drove away from the party. I closed my eyes, hoping this uncomfortable feeling to disappear.
"We're here." Morgan said waking me up. I opened my eyes and saw a McDonald's.
"Food!" I said springing out of my seat. I opened the door, almost tripping over my feet. I looked down and saw the black pumps Morgan lent me on my feet. "Can I take these off now?" I asked. She nodded.
"Here." She said going to the trunk. She opened it, grabbing a bag. "It's clothes for you to change in."
"Thanks." I said. I grabbed the bag and headed inside. The bright lights caused me to close my eyes. I think this hungover began a little early.
"Go change. I'll order the food." Morgan said. I nodded, squinting my way to the bathroom.
In there, I changed into a plain black tee and some light wash jeans. I switched the pumps for some dirty white Converse. I pulled on a black hoodie and threw my hair into a messy bun. I stuffed the dress and heels into the bag before walking out.
