"Are you sure your plan is going to work?" he asked worriedly.

"Don't worry dude, I'm sure it will work out fine" I gave him a reassuring smile and made my way back home.

"Wait!" Dipper exclaimed grabbing my wrist.

"What?" I asked.

"Why are you... being so kind to me?" he asked puzzled and I smiled.

"Because now I can tease you with your little secret~," I said flicking his nose and ran back to my house hoping I would live to see another day.

Dipper's POV

"Because now I can tease you with your little secret~," (Y/N) said flicking my nose and ran away, leaving me surprised. When I got back to my senses, I saw Mabel looking at me curiously with Will behind her.

"What was that all about, brother dear?" she asked with a small grin on her face.

"Don't take it out of context, she's just a friend" I said.

"Then why are you blushing?" she smirked making me blush more.

"You're seeing things" I shrugged it off and went back to my room but Mabel stopped the door.

"There's got to be a reason that you and (Y/N) are suddenly close again, what is it?" she asked-more like demanded-

"It's nothing, sister dear" I answered fully closing the door.

After a few weeks, Pacifica and I became closer than ever, (Y/N) would always be in the background making sure everything was going well and give me notes and tips at my house.

"Okay, you've already gotten to her good side and I think she's developed a crush on you. Now, we just need to seal the deal" (Y/N) grinned as she spun around on my computer chair with a huge grin on her face and I couldn't help but smile at her.

(Y/N)'s POV

I spun around facing Dipper and I noticed that he was smiling and looked like he was daydreaming.

"Earth to Romeo, you still there?" I asked waving around my notepad and pen catching his attention.

"Y-yeah?" he answered and I sighed.

"Were you even listening to me?" I asked putting a hand on my hip.

"Yeah, Pacifica and I, I'm listening" he answered and I sat back down with a huff.

"If you say so, now, about you're--"

"--have you always had that shirt?" Dipper asked cutting me off.

Right now my attire was an oversized shirt, some comfortable short and my hair was in a messy bun.

"I bought it about a year ago, anyways; about your date--"

"--you never told me you liked (F/B). Don't they have a concert tonight?" he cut me off again.

"Y-yeah, but we should really focus on--"

"--I can ask Grunkle Stan to get us tickets if you like" Dipper suggested and now I'm just annoyed and confused. I sighed in frustration and looked at Dipper in the eyes.

"All right, tell me," I said seriously.

"What?" he asked.

"What's been bugging you? You're really out of character... If it's about Pacifica, then--"

"--It's not about Pacifica, (N/N)" he said aggravated, startling me.

"I-I'm sorry, it's just that--"

"--N-no, it's not your fault. I shouldn't have pushed you" I said and looked over to the clock.

"Shoot! It's almost time for your date! Here are your clothes, go get ready!" I said giving him his clothes and went out of the room.

Dipper's POV

(Y/N) gave me my clothes and hurriedly went out of the room; I sighed in frustration and decided to get ready for the date

'Just forget about it, Dipper. She probably hates you anyway' I thought.

"Hahaha, oh my gosh, I didn't know" Pacifica laughed and I chuckled. I looked over her and saw (Y/N) wearing large sunglasses and a newspaper in her hands. She noticed me and gave me a thumbs up with a huge grin making me roll my eyes.

"What?" Pacifica asked wiping away her tears.

"H-huh?" I said.

"What were you smiling at?" she asked smirking.

"U-umm..." I stuttered.

"Tell her she looked cute while laughing" (Y/N) said over my earpiece.

"Y-you looked really cute while laughing" I repeated making Pacifica blush and smile at the ground

"Nice!" (Y/N) commented.

"T-thanks, Dipper. I didn't you would change so much..." she said bashfully.

"Lean in!" (Y/N) ordered and I followed. Pacifica looked up to me making her blush more but she leaned in nonetheless.

"Hey, Dipping Sauce! Look what I've found!" a memory flashed in my mind making me lean away.

"W-what? Why did you lean away!?" (Y/N) asked frustrated.

"Dipper?" Pacifica called out, "I-is... something wrong?" she asked concerned.

"I-I... I need to go" I said standing up and ran away.

"Dipper!" Pacifica and (Y/N) called out but I ignored them.
