“You walk like my grandmother,” Michael said. I rolled my eyes and took a couple steps down the hallway. “No, that would be an insult…to my grandmother!” Michael was roaring with laughter. I left him there and made my way to his dorm.
I knocked on the door and Nick answered. He smiled warmly at me. I was pushed from behind and fell into Nick. Michael rushed past me and dove for the bathroom. That coward! I will pick the lock! You cannot run away from me Michael.
“You know, Bree, if you wanted this,” he motioned to his body, “all you had to do was ask.” Nick smirked as I pushed him out of the way; cocky bastard.
A bunch of people were already in the door. There was Drew and a couple of guys from the party. Then there were at least seven girls in very skimpy clothing. Okay so there were about five guys (including Michael) and eight girls (including me). Who are these guys? Obviously they must be major players.
“Welcome to the party,” Drew said before returning to his make-out session with the girl sitting on his lap. I wanted to gag, but I was polite and refrained from doing so.
“Want something to drink?” Nick asked me. I shook my head no and made my way to Michael’s desk. I know I saw a paper clip in one of these drawers.
“You’re not supposed to go through Michael’s things,” a girl, with a way too high pitched voice, said. She was giving me a glare as she looked me over. Obviously I didn’t amount to much, by her standards.
“Yes, because I take orders from the likes of you,” I said sarcastically. I glared at her and focused on the desk. I rummaged through a few of the drawers before finding a paper clip. I walked back to the bathroom and knocked on the door.
“Who is it?” Michael’s voice called.
“Your bestest friend!” I said.
“Bree, go away.”
I sighed before kneeling down in front of the door. I straightened out the paper clip and put it in the lock. I wiggled it around for a little bit. In the movies it looks so much easier. It’s like one pick and boom they’ve picked the lock. Frustrated it I wiggled the paper clip more aggressively and heard a click. I opened the door. Michael gasped when he saw me.
“Now, Bree, you have to understand I just really had to use the bathroom.”
“Save your bullshit, Michael.”
“I’m sowry,” he said with puppy dog eyes. I frowned; he knows just how to get what he wants.
“I forgive you.” He was quite before scooping me up and hoisting me over his shoulder.
A scream came out of my mouth as I was thrown on his bed. He tried to do a belly flop on top of me but I rolled away too quickly. He grabbed my waist and started to tickle me. I broke out in a fit of giggles but managed to kick him. Before he could catch me again I slid off his bed onto the floor. Everyone was watching us with amusement.
I ran behind Nick and hid. “Nick, save me!” I yelled.
“You’re on your own, Bree.” He moved out of the way and left me in plain sight. Michael lunged towards me. There was nowhere to go, so I got tackled.
We both laughed some more on the floor when we heard a voice call out. “Michael, if you’re done playing with your whore, I suggest we start to watch a movie.” Who. The. Hell. Does. She. Think. She. Is!
“Don’t call her that,” Michael hissed. The girl shut up and scrunched into the corner.
“We should start the movie,” Drew said. Which was probably true.
