17- Packing (And Cuddling)

"I can get the stuff from my room, and you can go get the things from the kitchen?"

"Okay! We can come back for the furniture. I have some of my empty boxes at my place if you need them." I smile.

"That would be better. Let's go get them." He replies.

"Okay!" We leave his house and walk down the street to my house. We got the boxes from my basement, and started walking back.

Garroth and Laurence were sitting on their porch, and then they noticed us. "Y/N! Zane! Hey!" Laurence waves.

Garroth gets up from his chair and walks over to us. "What are you two doing?" I smiles.

"Well, Zane and I-" Zane covers my mouth.

"Not yet." He whispers to me.

"Oh, okay." I whisper back.

"Hmm?" Garroth asks, tilting his head.

"Just going back to his place." I tell him.

"Oh, and what about the boxes?"

"He was working on a project and needed boxes, so I'm giving these to him. Plus, we were just hanging out at his house earlier. You know about the amusement park, right?" I reply.

"Yep! I do. Laurence, Travis and I are all going." Garroth tells us.

"Great! Y/N, we should get back to my place. Bye, Garroth!" Zane smiles at him, forgetting he doesn't have his mask on.

Garroth laughs. "Bye, no-mask baby brother! Bye, Y/N!"

Laurence laughs too. "See ya tomorrow!"

"Yep! Bye!" I say, and follow Zane. I hold his hand. He blushes a little.

"Nice excuse, Y/N." Zane laughs.

"Thanks," I laugh too.

We get back to Zane's house, and go inside. He takes a few boxes upstairs to his room, I take a few into the kitchen.

I pack all the dishes, cutlery, cups, food and the other little things into two of the boxes. Food in one, appliances in the other. Zane comes down with three boxes off stuff from his bedroom.

"Wow, that was quick." I giggle.

"You did the kitchen quickly, too. Let's go do the living room."

-Aph-ter packing the whole house, minus furniture-

"Should we get this stuff to your house?" Zane asks.

"Maybe we can do that in the morning. It's 9:00 already." I tell him.

"You're right. You can sleep here, if you'd like."

"Thanks." I yawn.

"Already tired, eh?" He laughs.

"N-no! I'm not tired..."

"Alright. Wanna watch a movie?" He asks.

"Sure," I reply, and crawl onto the couch.

The room was MUCH emptier now. all that was left was the TV, coffee table, and couch. It was a little cold, too, since the space was more open. I shivered.

"You okay?" Zane sits down on the couch beside me, and warps his arm around my shoulders. "You look a little cold.."

"I-I'm fine," I say, and pull my knees up to my chest.

"No, you aren't. Here," he takes off his hoodie, and puts it on me. It was warm. He was just wearing a deep blue t-shirt underneath. (I just realized I'm wearing grey jeans and a deep blue t-shirt too XD)

"T-thank you.. Are you sure you won't be cold..?" I look up at him.

"I'm sure, Y/N. You can use that hoodie. I'm gonna go get a blanket, too." He gets up, and grabs a blanket from a box. He sits back down, and spreads it over both us.

He moves closer to me, and re-wraps his arm around me. I blush a little.

"Better?" He asks.

"B-better..!" I smile.

Zane turns on my favorite movie, because he knows I love it.

-Half way through-

I was now sitting on Zane's lap, with his arms wrapped around me and my head on his chest. It was so comfortable.. I started to fall asleep.

Zane's POV-

I noticed Y/N start to fall asleep, and I laughed quietly to myself. I turned off the movie, and put my head on top of hers. She really was tired. I started to fall asleep too.
