When Rules Are Destroyed

Something That Caught My Eye

As Brody and I made it up stairs my iPhone was ringing as a face time call was trying to connect, I looked at the screen as it ended the song as it alerted me that I had missed a chat with Ame.

"Go call her back; I'll wait for you to be done." Brody had kissed my neck as he went into our room and shut the door.

As I called Amelia back on face time I felt the same chills coming up my back, before she answered I yelled out to Brody to come out and sit down with me on the couch. When Amelia finally answered he came out and sat next to me putting his arm around me.

"Nevey!" Amelia had screamed as her face appeared on my screen. "How are you?! How are my niece and nephew?!"

"I'm fabulous and they are great. But you wouldn't guess what happened, but you already know because you helped out on it you little twat! You knew the whole time that he still liked me!" I laughed as I brought my hand up to the screen and it sparkled in the light.

She had screeched and said she knew it would happen how she's going to plan out the wedding and how she's going to be the best maid of honor and she went on and on about ideas until I had cut her off and told her I would have to go since breakfast was ready.

"Okay hunny.. text me and tell me when you're heading back to the states alright?!" I had smiled into the phone as she just nodded her head as she said bye and we ended the call.

As we were going down the elevator, Brody had pushed the emergency stop and turned to me and spoke. "What had you so lost in thought earlier?" he pulled me in front of him so we were looking at each other through the metal door.

"Honestly I was thinking how perfect that picture was, with you, me, eli and jay plus another one, it made me want to have an actual family with you and have our own baby girl or boy together! Of course after graduation and after we get married but I want to have a baby with you."

"My love, why do we have to wait? We are in love, I am going to marry you. So what if there is another one on its way when we get married? Why don't we start trying soon?" the biggest smile on his face appeared while he was talking about having a baby together and getting pregnant soon.

"Okay babe, we can start trying when we get back home." I had agreed, I was nervous to speak my mind, what if he had thought the idea was obscured in many ways? I wouldn't have been able to handle that pressure.

He had hit the continue button and the doors soon opened after that. We walked into the dining room where it revealed everyone at the table and they were eating and passing the food around. After stuffing our faces with a wonderful Christmas breakfast, Brody decided that we should go before the roads get to bad. As we packed up all of our stuff and the kids luggage into the truck, we said our goodbyes and Madeline told us to come back again soon and then we were off to Texas. We stopped in the same city as we did coming up, and staying the night.

We woke up early the next morning and put the sleeping kids into the back and we took off, making excellent in time as we got to the house at 4 o'clock pm. Brody unpacked as I made up a quick and easy dinner since we had food all the way back down. It was soon after 5 when dinner was ready, mac' n' cheese with smoked sausage mixed in. We all sat down as a family in my little iddy bitty dining room compared to his parents house.

"I love the smallness of this room compared to my parents. Theirs seem like it has a bunch of emptiness through out the house when everyone is not there." Brody said as we finished clearing the table after we were done eating.

"I do too Brody, it seems to be perfect for us. Babe, would you like to move in? Since we are getting married and all?" I asked in a small nervous voice.
