Something That Caught My Eye

"Nevaeh, I would love to!" Brody had picked me up and twirled me around the kitchen. "I'll start moving my things over tomorrow, if that's okay?" he smiled as he looked down at me.

"Of course! Starting tonight we will be forever sleeping in the same bed!"

April 25th, 2014

Brody and I have been living with each other for five months, Amelia had bought Brody's house from him so she is now our neighbor instead of roommate. We both have been crazy with finals but also planning a wedding. When Amelia got back from Greece, Jordan had brought her flowers and chocolates and asked her to be his girlfriend since the time apart for them made him realize that he better ask her to be his girlfriend before anyone else had.

Jay is excited to be finishing his first year in preschool since we had exactly a month till we were out of school, all of us expect for Brody, he has to continue being a teacher for a few more days after we all get out.

Brody and I have been trying for that baby girl or boy since we left his parents, and so far we have had hopes but each time I've taken a pregnancy test it has come out negative. Each time we were disappointed but it still didn't bring our hopes down.

Mr Dawson (Mystery Man) POV

Each day I see my beautiful wife my heart and love grows for her. She is incredible in every way I know that today will be the day that mine and Ms Dae's plan will come into action!

Nevaeh's POV

For the past few weeks I have been feeling quite ill in the mornings, I have yet to throw up just ill to the stomach. As I got ready with Brody and got the kids ready for school I had made a plan in my head; before lunch I will go to the drug store buy a pregnancy test and take it at the house if it is positive I will wait till Brody gets home with the kids and I will show him! I really hope this time it's positive!

We dropped off the kids at day care and school and we were off to work and school. Brody had dropped me off behind the school so no one would get suspicious about us. Each class was going by slower and slower until the bell rang and I ran out into the parking lot and saw the cab that I had called in the previous hour to take me to the drug store and home.

As I got to the store the women knew me well from my past tests and they also knew my age and that I had a fiancée and we were trying to get pregnant. I walked through the door and the bell rang and they both looked up and smiled.

"Hey young lady, need another one?" Margret a 45 year old lady had asked me with a smile on her face.

"Yes please!" I replied with excitement.

"Well here ya go, its on the house! Good luck with this one sweet pea!" both women said as they passed me a test.

"Thank you so much!" and I was out the door and into the cab.

I paid the driver as he stopped at my house. I got out and ran into it and up stairs to the bathroom in my room. I was so excited I was about to piss my pants, I followed the instructions like every time I've tested. I waited the seven minutes, each ticking second I felt if I were going to burst. After the seven minutes I looked at the stick and in the result box was two pink lines. I was so excited I seriously had to lay down in my bed. I had left the pregnancy stick that decided mine and Brody's future kid on the counter in the bathroom on some toilet paper.

I fell straight asleep waiting for my love to come home so I can give him the great news.

Mr Dawson's POV

Ms Dae said she saw my wife leaving the school so I decided to check up on her at the house. I was super pleased to find out that Amelia that bitch had moved out and so did Brody from his house. When I got to her house I turned the door handle to find that it was unlocked. I walked upstairs to where I knew her room was located. I opened the door to find her asleep in her bed. She looked like an angel with her brown wavy hair surrounding her heavenly face. Today was the day that I would take my wife to my house! I pushed my arms underneath her body to lift her up and carried her into the car. As I got into the car I was ecstatic, I finally had my love with me! And we were going home!

Brody's POV

When I got home from picking the kids up I was nervous because I didn't see my girl at all today from the time that I had dropped her off in the back. Amelia had said that she was going to the store during lunch but I thought she would be back at school by her T.A. period. I had called and called her phone but she wasn't picking up. With each passing hour I became nauseous of overwhelming thoughts.

When I pulled up to the house the front door was wide open. I left the kids in the car and locked it but kept it running. I ran into the house and looked everywhere, my fiancée was nowhere down stairs. I got this sick feeling in my stomach with each step I took as I made my way up stairs. The door to our room was wide open and the bathroom door was shut with the light on. Relief had washed over me as I thought that my babe could be in the bathroom. I knocked on the door and no answer; I knocked on it again before I opened the door to reveal an empty room. I was about to turn away, when something caught my eye.

It was a pregnancy test stick, I went over and I picked it up by the clean end and saw inside the result box was the two pink lines. I was going to be a daddy!

I was excited but then realization washed over me as my brain clicked, my fiancée, my angel, the love of my life who is pregnant with my adoring baby girl or boy has been kidnapped.
