I nodded my head, a small smile growing on my face. He closed the door and I turned to face the mirror.
I finally felt at peace. The Rogue King, Kyan, and Jared were dead. Kyle and Hannah were alive and were being taken care of.
I turned away from the mirror and left the room. I noticed a dress laying on my bed with a note laying on it.
Found this dress for you! Thought it would be perfect for you tonight. The girls and I can't wait to see you! We've missed you like crazy and we're glad that you are home, safe and sound. We are so glad to have our friend back. Love you!
~PeytonI picked up the black dress and smiled. I definitely missed them a lot and I was excited to see them again.
I took the dress back to the bathroom and I dried my body off before slipping the dress on. It hugged my curves nicely.
I dried my hair and decided to leave it straight instead of curling it. I then applied make up before leaving the bathroom. I put on a pair of black heels before heading downstairs.
I heard laughter coming from the living room. When I walked in, I was immediately hugged.
"Jamie!" I heard Peyton's voice followed by the other girls.
They let go of me and Peyton grinned, "We missed you so much! We're glad that you're okay!"
"I missed you guys, too," I replied.
The girls all grinned at me. Riley pushed a curly strand of her fiery red hair off her shoulder and offered me an eager and excited look. "We felt so empty without you. Anyways, the party is about to start and we can't wait to let you see how much we missed you!"
The girls all cheered as we exited the house and piled into Peyton's car. In minutes we reached the Pack house. The girls had told me the party was being held in a large empty room where there was enough space for a dance floor and everything.
Many cars were parked outside. I was also told that some other packs were invited, which kind of surprised me considering the reputation this pack has.
We entered the Pack house and made our way towards the room. It was on the third floor. When we got there, I was greeted by loud music, different colored lights, and tons of people. I stared in awe of it all.
"Let's have fun!" Peyton cheered as she dragged me deeper into the room. I grinned as one of my favorite songs, "Hallelujah" by Panic! At The Disco, played loudly on the speakers.
We moved onto the dance floor and started dancing. We mouthed the words to the song. My hips swayed to the beat of the music as I let loose and allowed me to enjoy myself.
I noticed Dakota walk up to Peyton and started dancing with her. I smiled at the two. Winter danced with her mate, Zander. Jonas had also joined us and we all laughed at each other when we danced.
I was having the most fun I've had in a while. I finally felt at home. Like I'm in the right place. Where I belong.
I was taken out of my thoughts when I felt hands grab my hips. I was overwhelmed by Parker's strong scent, and my wolf, who I finally had contact with, purred and enjoyed the proximity of us with our mate.
That didn't stop me from dancing. In fact, he sounded as though he was enjoying it by the way he growled lowly in his throat and his grip tightened. He pulled me closer to his body and moved with me to the beat of the music.
It felt as if the mood in the room changed as slower, more intimate, song started to play. I watched how people started dancing closer to the partners.
