Chapter 9: Call

Shit! What am I talking about?!

"Ugh! Isn't it obvious, Levi?"

"What?"

"Wear something before talking with me!"

"And that's the reason you're covering you virgin eyes?"

My cheeks burned more when I heard those words.

"What the-?!"

I gave in putting my whole face in a pillow.

"Oi! I can't see you!"

"Then at least wear something if you wanna talk to me!"

Ugh! Levi is really getting on my nerves!

I heard him chuckle. "Fine."

"Tch, you're acting as if you don't want to see it~"

I heard him mumbled, doing it for purpose to tease me.

"Shut up!"

"Tch, brat."

I removed the pillow and finally my nerves calmed down. Levi layed back down on his bed facing his laptop, now wearing a loose shirt.

"Happy now?" He asked with his stoic expression back.

I sighed in relief "Oh god, heavens saved me."

"Anyway, you still didn't answered my question."

"Eh?"

"Do I have to repeat it to your brainless head?"

"Hey! I'm not brainless! I was only teasing you." I glared at him. "Anyway, I'm having fun here, for instance I've met Seven, he's nice, and my new friend." I smiled, remembering how fun to have fun with him.

"Seven? Tch. Whoever the hell it was, he had the ugliest name I've ever heard." Then Levi looked away.

"Don't be so judgmental. He was nice, if you met him."

"I don't care and I have no intention on meeting that jerk."

I laughed. "You're just jealous because I have a new friend." I sticked a tongue.

"Tch." He rolled his eyes. "Why would I be? There is no reason for me to, you're not that important."

I became speechless for a moment and my heart felt like...

Pain.

Levi interrupted my train of thoughts. "Oi, brat. Still there?"

"O-oh.. uhmm.. it's getting late." I faked a yawn. "I need to sleep, goodnight, Levi. See you."

My chest throbbing. But it felt like I lost my hope.

Is this how it feels to be broken? Hurt... when you're in love?

Levi was about to say something but I exited before he could tell something. I closed my laptop and put it under my bed then started to brush my teeth on the bathroom.

I don't want him to get a clue from me about what I feel. He might avoid me and it's what I am scared of.

I'm such an idiot that I let myself fall in love with a person who really don't care about me.

After finishing my night routine, I finally got myself to bed but still hurt about what he said... I don't know if he mean it.

Until I remember what he said before after we played in the shooting range.

"Bleeeh!" I sticked a tongue, pissing Levi off.

"Tch, it's just your lucky day."

"I don't care. At least." I chuckled.

"Yeah, whatever. Keep it up." He ruffled my hair. "Just always be like that... shit, I hate to admit it... "

I didn't heard the last sentence, but I looked away embarrassed since I'm blushing, after he ruffled my hair...

It keeps on ringing on my mind that almost ruin my head

I stared at the blank ceiling but didn't realized a tear fell from my right eye.
