The question

I was hitting the table so hard it made Alex's coffee spill over, onto his old ass laptop.

"Shit!" I scream.

I look over at Alex who looks like he's going to scream, break down, and cry.

"Alex I'm so sorry! Let's get a new one, I'll pay for it," I ramble over the panic now in the room.

"I was working on my essay! I had 51 pages on it!" Alex started screaming angrily at everyone and anyone.

"I feel so bad Alex let me buy you a new one! Come on please, also 51 essays, Jesus man," I start to ramble again.

Alex just nods his head," ok we can go get one, the essay wasn't that important anyway," he sighs.

I get on shoes and start walking to the store

After the long, awkward walk of me profusely apologizing to Alex, we got to the computer store. Alex followed me in as I motioned at laptops and tablets, not really knowing what I was doing. As I thought that a short man with brown hair walked up to us, " so can I help you fellas with anything?" The man asked us enthusiastically.

I motion for Alex to start talking to the man.

After about 30 minutes of Alex and the sales man talking about computers, Alex picked a mac book I think and we went to the till. I paid for the lap top and we walked back to the apartment.

"So the laptop works for your needs?" I asked Alex as he held the bag that contained his laptop.

"Yes it does! I know this will sounds strange but thank you for being excited about breakfast, spilling coffee on my old crappy laptop, and then buying me a new one," Alex exclaimed.

We continued to walk until we got home. We got in the door and Alex immediately started to open his laptop to get to work. I hear him walking off to our room and shut the door. Laf and herc are watching finding nemo on the couch, and I am left to be bored and alone. I decide to call Peggy and see if she wants to hang out. I reach into my pocket and pull out my phone. I dial Peggy's number and ask her if she wants to hang out, she says yes.

"I'm leaving!" I scream out to anyone who might care

"K," I hear herc yell from the couch.

I grab my jacket and head out the door. The Schuyler's house is only about 5 minutes away. I start walking, and walking... and walking. God I'm so bored. Before I know it I'm at the Schuyler's huge mansion. I can hear yelling from outside the house. Before I can even knock Peggy appears at the door," get me out of here!" She pleads.

I nod and we head to a nearby coffee shop called ' Sebastian's beans'. I step inside and hold the door open for Peggy like the gentleman I am. I go up to order our drinks while Peggy gets a table. I order, get our drinks and sit down.

"So pegs how's life?" I ask her trying to be vague so I can narrow it down to the interesting shit.

"Oh you know...good? I don't know I'm worried," Peggy answers me, sipping her mocha.

"What are you worried about pegs? We're best friends! You can always talk to me I won't judge,"  I say, clearly worried.

"Well it's," she sighed," it's Maria. I swear somethings wrong or up. She's leaving at strange hours and when she returns she has bruises or cuts on her body. I'm scared for her and Eliza too. I just don't know anything anymore. How's your life going?"

"Oh well I am excited for class and stuff.... and there's a boy!"

"What! John who?!"

"Ok I'll tell you but you can't tell a soul! Promise?"

"Promise! ok who?" Peggy asked impatiently.

"Alex!" I almost scream.

Peggy squeals. I almost jump out of my seat! I know it's soon but I have a strong feeling about this one this time. Is Alex even gay? Or bi? Pan!? God I barely know him.

"C'mon we should go back to the dorms," Peggy said, snapping me out of my thoughts.

We walked back to the Schuyler's where I could still hear faint screaming. I said goodbye and good luck to Peggy and headed of to my dorm. I got in the door to see herc and laf watching one of the scream movies. Looks like Dewey got shot. I stand in the walkway for a while listening to the movie and the incessant clicking of Alex's keyboard. I start into the kitchen and pull out random junk food because I'm bored and take it back to my shared room. I wave at Alex but he doesn't see anything. I lay on my bed watching YouTube on my phone. I start by watching Shane Dawson and then end the night by watching/ listening to dodie Clark and her amazing music. I soon fall asleep. The faint noise of Alex's keyboard helping me drift into an uneventful sleep.

I wake up to the sun shining through the thin, white curtains. I look over to see Alex asleep, face down on his keyboard typing a bunch of g's. I pick up his tiny body and place him in his bead. I go to the kitchen and make coffee, as I do this I decide to text the group chat.

Gayerthanadoublerainbow: guys we should go to that bar that serves underage college students tonight with Alex.

Legerita: sure sounds good

Angeliqueen: ok 2 things. 1) why are you two up so fucking early? And 2) sure sounds good but on one condition, we get to fill up john for Alex.

Legerita: ok sounds good:) also I'm up so early because I go for jogs in the morning.

Baguette: what in holy hell you woke up herc and I. I will totally go with you guys!

Gayerthanadoublerainbow: ok so it's settled! A pre collage party! See you all at 7?

Angeliqueen: sure.

I put my phone down and tended to my coffee. I really love my friends sometimes.

Hey. So I haven't updated recently. To be completely honest I didn't think anyone would read the first chapter. I tried to make this chapter kinda longer but I don't know how I did. I'm open for feedback on my writing:). Have a wonderful day or night
