Chapter Twenty-six

"I'm glad to see all three of you here together." He continued. "How has business been going?"

"Good." Michael lied.

"Good, eh?"

Jordyn and Michael nodded.

"I'm glad to hear that." He said. "So you have something for me?"

"300,000 just like we promised." Jordyn said pointing to the briefcases.

"Perfect." Cardo ran his hands together. "Boys, make sure that everything is there."

His guards left out the office.

"So once things are counted, we'll set up everything to get the shipment to your warehouse."

Jordyn felt relieved.

"Speaking of the warehouse, Ive heard a few things." Cardo got up from his desk and came and stood in front of them.

"What have you heard?" Jordyn asked.

"Oh, nothing major just that it was raided by the cops."

"Cardo, we can explain." Michael said but Cardo threw his hand up.

"There's nothing to explain. You thought that you would be able to keep that away from me didn't you?"

"No." Fear filled Jordyn's eyes. "We just thought as long as we had your money everything would be okay."

"It's not just about the money Jordyn my dear, when cops are involved, I get a little uneasy. If you three get caught that could lead them to me and if I get caught, I'll have each of your heads on a platter by the time I make bail."

"We would never get you caught up in anything. You know how loyal we are." Michael pleaded.

"Do I? And it's also come to my attention that the reason for the raid is because Jordyn like to open her legs to cops." He grabbed Jordyn by her hair, pulling her up out of her seat. Her brothers immediately jumped up. "Is that true Jordyn?"

Tears ran down her face. "Please let go."

"I can't do that." He gripped her hair tighter. "Because you want to be a whore and sleep around, my drugs were taken. I hired you to distribute them and because you fucked up and because you fucked up my customers have lost out for 3 long months!"

Jordyn cried trying to get out of Cardo's grip but he had her too tight. Cliff and Michael didn't know what to do. They couldn't kill her because they didn't bring anything.

Cardo smiled at the sight of Jordyn begging and also at what he'd reveal next. "You know what Cliff, you were right. Your sister has gotten soft."

Michael quickly looked at his brother. "Cliff what the fuck did you do?!"

"Oh he just let me know what was going on behind my back. While trying to turn on his sister."

Cardo pushed Jordyn to the floor hard. "Your brother, informed me about the police officers that Jordyn has been fucking and about the raid. He also told me that he wants to branch out on his own because Jordyn didn't want to kill the officer that caused you to get my drugs taken. He feels as though you and your sister have gotten soft."
