Chapter 29

"Breakfast is now served." Lucas said giving me a plate that had my favorite breakfast on it.

It was a simple plate of pancake with eggs and bacon on the side. Marcus poured me a glass of milk and gave it to me. I smiled at them both before thanking them. I took a bite out of the marvelous breakfast.

"This is so gooooood." I told them, stretching out to 'oo' in 'good'.

"Why thank you." Marcus and Lucas said at the same exact time.

"Don't do that again, got it." I laughed at them.

"No problem." They said and looked at each other as if they both were aliens from another universe.

I glared at the both of them and then returned to my breakfast. I was about to take another bite when the fork was taken away from me. I whined and looked up to see Logan there.

"Logy!" I yelled, hugging him tightly.

"Happy birthday little sis." He said with a mouth full of my breakfast.

"Thank you." I said, taking my fork away from him and went back to eating as Logan went to go find Jake.

"Charlotte! Has anyone seen Charlotte? Where's Charlotte?" Tristan asked worriedly as we walked through the front door.

"What do you need Tristan? What's wrong?" I asked him.

He ran over to me and hugged me.

"Tristan, you're making me scared." I told him.

"Did you know that it was your birthday?" He asked, holding my shoulders and looking at me.

"Yeah, I did know that." I laughed at him.

"Why didn't you tell me!" He yelled.

I laughed a bit more.

"I'm just joking, I knew that it was your birthday for a long time. I couldn't forget my bestie's birthday!" He laughed.

I smiled and finally went back to my breakfast. Everyone talked a bit and finally everyone was in the kitchen, laughing and having a great time while eating. This is exactly what I wanted.

"Lottie, let's go!" Jake yelled.

I looked at him confused.

"What?" I asked.

"Let's go! I'm taking you to set with me today!" He said.

"Alright. Just let me get my phone." I told him, putting my plate in the sink, and running upstairs.

I came back down with my phone and he was waiting for me by the door. Lucas and Marcus were walking into the office and right before Jake and I left, I gave Marcus a quick kiss on the cheek. I ran out the door, my hat flying off, and got in the car. Jake got in as well and gave me my hat which I put on again. It was a quiet ride with the radio playing music in the background. We finally made it and went straight to his dressing room. After a few minutes of him being on his phone and me looking at the pictures on his wall, a young boy walked into the room.

"Jake!" He yelled.

He was looking down but once he looked up, he stopped in his tracks. I couldn't tell what his facial expression was. Shocked? Surprised?

"Hey Ethan. I would like to introduce you to my sister, Charlotte. Charlotte, this is Ethan, he is one of my co-stars." Jake introduced us, getting off the couch and putting an arm around my shoulders.

"Nice to meet you." He shakily put out his hand.

I gladly took it and shook his hand.

"Nice to meet you too." I smiled.
