"Sweet! And of course I'll help you train!" I smiled.
We started training and I was teaching them about swords and the safety of swords. We then moved in to bows.
Rollo and Lello then ran over to us.
"We wanna play too!" They chirped.
I whispered to Nekoette and Dmitri, "We will continue actual training later. For now, we will play."
They nodded.
We then grabbed sticks and started to fake duel with them.
Dmitri then poked me in the stomach.
"I beat you!" Dmitri chanted.
I let him win.
"Attack!" Rollo cried.
The four children then tackled me to the ground.
"On my Irene you guys weigh a ton!" I yelled with a struggled voice.
"Really?" Lello asked.
"Nope!" I stood up perfectly fine.
They then jumped on my shoulders and back.
"You four are crazy!" I started walking around.
"Did you hear the news?" Laurence ran up to me.
"Nope, I've been with these little ones all day." I smiled at the three.
"Hi Laurence!" The four yelled in my ear.
"Emmalyn and Kenmur are getting married!" Donna yelled.
"Really?!" I was in complete shock.
"Mhm!" He smiled. "Now let me help you with these little ones."
Laurence then grabbed Dmitri and Lello and those two started holding onto him.
I started giggling and Laurence laughed.
"Everyone jump down." I ordered.
They obeyed my orders.
I looked at Laurence
'You know what I'm thinking?' I asked.
'HOW CAN I HEAR YOU?' Laurence panicked.
'My Magicks.' I reminded him.
'Flip them?' He started.
'In three, two, one.' I counted down.
We then flipped the kids over our shoulders.
We started running around and the kids were laughing like crazy.
"How dare you two slack off!" Alexis joked.
The kids all jumped down. The twins went back to playing and Nekoette and Dmitri went to train.
"I'll be back." I said.
He nodded and I left the safe hold.
Walking around the village of Phoenix Drop was kinda depressing. Everything was destroyed. I mean, I know that before, but I've never actually got a clear look at the destruction.
As I was about to cross over a bridge, I saw a grave and noticed it was empty; this caused me to frown. I noticed a patch of flowers and I picked them.
I then placed them on the grave.
"Irene bless your soul." I whispered.
I closed my eyes and smiled. I opened my eyes.
"I'm sorry. I wish I could give you more." I whispered once more.
"Ungrth would be thankful for the flowers." Laurence said.
I whipped around and saw Laurence.
"Sorry. I'll leave you be."
"It's fine." He reassured me. "Ungrth was my Wyvern. He sacrificed himself to save me from the Nether... I wish he was still here."
Ungrth? I know an Ungrth? Are we talking about the same Wyvern?
I ran up to Laurence and hugged him.
I'll tell hime when the time is right.
"I'm sorry." Laurence apologized.
"It's okay. You can cry if you need to." I reassured him.
"I won't cry." He said strongly.
I looked at him and smiled.
"I'm here for you." I started. "Always."
"Always?" He questioned.
"Always." I stated once more.
"Thank you."
