Brothers? I have brothers? Why was I never informed if this?
"I know it's selfish, but that is why she has a lot more restrictions. To keep her alive. To keep her here." My dad finished.
"I just don't think an arranged marriage is the best thing for her." Simon defended. "She can't even go anywhere alone, and now you want her to marry!"
Simon was always the one standing up for me. He always stood up for my privileges. He's like a second father to me. He's actually my godfather.
"Well, Garroth ran away and Zane could never love anyone; both have also been missing for nine years. And Vlyad died a long time ago." My father gave another explanation. "We also need to keep peace between the villages."
"When is the marriage?" Simon asked.
"She doesn't marry until she's twenty." He said.
"That's seven years. When are you gonna tell Princess (Y/n)?" Simon questioned.
"Not now. It's too soon." He said.
I had heard enough.
I'm not marrying someone! I don't want to marry anyone! And if I am going to marry someone, I don't want it to be forced!
I decided to do more snooping around the castle. I found my mom's safe and I opened it; her code was my date of birth.
Predictable.
I found a portrait of the three boys. Above their heads were names.
The name 'Garroth' was written above a pale, blue eyed, sandy blonde haired male.
He looks a lot like my daddy.
Standing next to him (on the left) was a boy named 'Vlyad'. He had brown hair and emerald green eyes.
He doesn't look like either of my parents.
But on the other side of 'Garroth', was a boy named Zane. He stood out to me. He had raven black hair, baby blue eyes, and the palest skin ever. He also wore a mask and his hair was covering one of his eyes.
He looks like my mommy.
I've got most of Garroth's facial features, feminized obviously. If you took a look at the two of us, you would be able to tell we were siblings.
Centered at the bottom of the picture was my mothers handwriting.
The Ro'meave boys.
I took the picture and ran back to my room.
I had to think. My brothers are out there. Sure, they're missing, but I can find them. I will find them.
It was sunset, so it's the perfect time to start getting ready. I packed all my necessities in a
(F/c) bag.I put on my black cloak. It has gold lining around the outside and on the inside, it had my name stitched into it. Mom got me this for my birthday; which was last week.
By the time I was ready to make my escape, it was already dark out.
I climbed out the window and I hopped in then slanted roof. I then dropped down from this roof to a different one. I kept repeating the same thing until I was on the ground.
Hiding from guards and people wasn't the easiest thing in the world, but I eventually escaped. I left O'khasis by the sewers.
I then started to run straight, until I was stopped by a Wyvern.
~•Flashback Over•~
I opened my eyes. I looked forward and saw the sun was rising.
Must've fallen asleep.
I do miss my parents. I wish I could see them; but I know I can't.
I'm twenty now, and there's no doubt about it that I'd be thrown into an arranged marriage. If not, I might be thrown in prison, and branded as a traitor to O'khasis.
In reality, I can never return to O'khasis to see my parents.
And that's the bottom line.
